I connected Search Console but see no data

A freshly-connected Google Search Console sometimes shows no data. Work through these.

Checklist

1. 1Wrong property selected. GSC often has multiple properties (domain vs URL-prefix, http vs https, www vs non-www). Select the one that actually has traffic.
2. 2The account lacks access. The Google account you authorized must have at least read access to the property in GSC.
3. 3Not enough history yet. Brand-new properties have little or no data to show.
4. 4Give it a moment. The first sync can take a little time after authorizing.

Fix

Disconnect and reconnect, choosing the correct property, then reload the view.
