AI already works for big companies. We’re making it work for yours.

We think small businesses deserve more from AI than another tool they have to learn. It should take useful work off their hands, without a developer, a complicated setup or a large-company budget. We started Sayora to put that belief into practice.

We build it in Edinburgh. Our ambition is to give small businesses AI agents they can put to work without a technical team. We’re starting with the phone: answering questions, capturing enquiries and booking appointments while you look after your customers. AI earning its keep, in the work your business already does today.

Two founders, hands‑on with every customer

We’ve worked together for years, building software that real people rely on. Now we’re building Sayora ourselves.

There’s no support desk between you and us: email hi@sayora.ai and Jacob or Bran replies. We write up what we’re learning on Many Hands, our blog.

Jacob Anderson

Jacob Anderson

Co-founder, CEO

Spent years as head of growth at a podcast software company, where he and Bran built tools used by thousands of creators until the company was acquired. Before that, a Scottish marketing agency, hands-on with small business owners. The missed-call problem stuck with him from those years.

Bran Kacer

Bran Kacer

Co-founder, CTO

Head of engineering at the same podcast software company, working alongside Jacob from the early days through to the acquisition. He’s spent his career building software that real users rely on every day. Now he makes sure Sayora answers when the phone rings.

Massive help.

Sayora has been a massive help with managing calls and making sure I don’t miss out on potential work. If I’m busy and can’t answer the phone, it gives me a clear rundown of exactly what the client needs before I return their call.

It means I can call customers back already knowing what the job involves and with the information I need, which saves time and makes everything much easier to manage. It’s been a really useful addition to my business and I’d definitely recommend it to other tradespeople.

Really pleased with the experience

Really pleased with the experience so far. Answers all our business landline calls and sends us email and text with who called and what they are looking for. Saves me being on site trying to take information down while up a ladder. Highly recommend

They have gone above and beyond...

The guys at Sayora.ai have gone above and beyond to tailor our ai receptionist to our business - nothing was too much trouble. Great service and would highly recommend to anyone that doesn’t want to miss leads.

Built for UK phone lines, not translated to them

Making AI genuinely useful to a British small business means building inside the UK’s rules and habits from the first line, not translating someone else’s product.

Ofcom compliant

Proper caller ID

Sayora presents compliant UK caller ID on every call. Your business shows up as your business, not an 'unknown number' that gets screened.

No pretending

AI disclosure up front

New callers hear that Sayora is an AI early in the call, before Sayora asks for any of their details. Then Sayora gets on with helping them.

Plain English

UK GDPR, spelled out

Call recordings, transcripts and caller details are handled under UK GDPR, with retention and rights written in plain English on our data page.

UK native

Built for how Britain phones

UK numbers with local area codes, clear £ pricing, and a real, warm British voice that greets callers the way Britain expects.

The full detail lives on how we handle your data. And when we write about the market, in our guides and comparisons, every price is read from the provider’s live page and dated, and we don’t use the industry’s unsourced scare statistics.

The name

saora

Sayora is from the Gaelic saora. It means liberty.

Say it say-OR-uh.

Built in Scotland. Independently owned. The point of Sayora is to get the next call answered so you can keep doing the work. That’s the freedom we’re building for.

We answer too

Write to hi@sayora.ai any time. Or skip ahead and hear what Sayora would say to your callers.
