What I’m on right now
Not the highlight reel: the current log. What I’m building, what I’m leading, and what’s stuck in my head this month.

Building
-
Clarity Today — news written by software, checked against its sources
It tells builders, operators and investors what changed, why it matters and what to ignore. Language models draft every story, every factual claim goes into a ledger with the source it came from, and a headline the ledger can’t support doesn’t publish. I build and run it.
Its methodology page explains, in public, how it reads.

promitb.dev — rebuilt around the work
This site is being rebuilt around what I build and lead. The AI-written daily briefing that used to fill it is retired, and its pages are gone. In its place come Notes: analysis I stand behind, at most one a day.
Leading
-
Leading engineers at AWS
Software Development Manager at Amazon since July 2022. The work itself is Amazon’s to describe, so it stays off this site. Views here are my own, not Amazon’s.
Thinking
-
Agent sandbox isolation as a first-class design problem
The Replit incident proved it. Every agent deployment from here on should start from a blast-radius diagram, not a prompt.
-
When to let the LLM drive, when to make it a passenger
Most products bolt AI on. The best ones reshape the workflow so the model is in the driver seat for the parts it’s good at, and locked out of everywhere it isn’t.
See the arc if you’re curious how I got here. Last updated .
