Questions about building an app
Do I need to know how to code to build an app?
No. Describe the app in ordinary language and work with Playcode to build and change it. You still need to review the result, test the tasks your customers will use and make decisions about your product. You or a developer can also edit the code.
Why use Playcode if I already have a coding agent?
Playcode brings the AI builder, development environment, project records, tests, preview, publishing and Cloud hosting together. The same project carries the work forward after launch, and you can ask our team for technical help. Choose it when you want more of the setup and ongoing work connected.
Can I build an app that uses AI?

Can I build for iPhone and Android?

Can my app accept payments or connect to another service?
Playcode can help build API and webhook connections where the service supports them. You may need an account, credentials, provider approval and separate usage fees. Test the complete transaction or workflow before using it with customers.
Is Playcode a free AI app builder?
Playcode has a Free plan, and eligible accounts receive trial AI credits. Free can host a public static website on a Playcode address with branding and usage limits. Publishing a Cloud app or using a custom domain requires the appropriate paid plan. Every plan, Free included, can make a project private. See our pricing page.
What if my app handles private information?
A Playcode Cloud project runs in an isolated environment. Your app's access rules, data handling and retention still need to be built and checked.
