Open source

The opensend.cc application is open source under the Apache License 2.0. The full text is in the LICENSE file in the repository.

No subscription, no per-email pricing, no feature gates. Self-host the Resend-compatible API on Next.js, Convex, Better Auth and AWS SES. The code you run stays yours.

What you can do

Use opensend.cc for anything: your own products, your clients' work, commercial or otherwise. Modify it and deploy it to as many servers as you like.

What the license asks

When you share the code or a modified version, include a copy of the license, keep the existing copyright, patent, trademark and attribution notices, and mark the files you changed. If the code ships with a NOTICE file, pass its notices along too.

The license grants no rights to the opensend.cc name or logo, except to describe where the code came from. If you sue anyone claiming the code infringes a patent, the patent license you received ends.

No warranty

opensend.cc is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. You run it on your own infrastructure. Its operation and its email deliverability are your responsibility.

This website

The marketing website is maintained in a separate private repository. New original website changes from September 18, 2026 are proprietary. Previously published code retains its existing license.
