Agent of Empires is a self-hosted session manager for developers working with several AI coding agents in parallel. It lets you follow work across projects and branches without keeping every agent's terminal open.

  • Agent support: Manage Claude Code, OpenCode, Mistral Vibe, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Pi.dev, Copilot CLI and Factory Droid Coding through a terminal interface or browser.
  • Persistent sessions: Agents keep running when you close the terminal interface, disconnect SSH or lose your terminal, while status detection and notifications help you track progress.
  • Work isolation: Optional Git worktrees separate work across branches, multi-repository workspaces group projects, and Docker, Podman or Apple Containers provide optional sandboxing.
  • Browser access: The desktop dashboard includes a terminal and diff review; the phone interface gives you a structured view of agent sessions.
  • Workflow integration: CLI and HTTP API access, profiles, repository hooks and custom agent commands support workflows beyond the built-in agent choices.

The manager runs on your own Linux or macOS machine or server and requires tmux for its persistent sessions. It's open source under the MIT license.
