I had a very disappointing experience


I had a very disappointing experience with Fourthwall.

My shop was permanently closed after I received an email claiming there were multiple credit card disputes and fraudulent activity. However, based on my records, my customers paid through PayPal, and I have not been informed by any customer about chargebacks or refund requests.

I contacted the company asking for clarification and evidence supporting their decision, but the account closure email stated that the decision was final.

From my experience, I felt that this decision was made without giving me a fair opportunity to understand or respond to the allegations. If you're considering using this platform, I recommend being cautious and keeping detailed records of all your transactions and communications in case you ever need to challenge a decision.

I hope Fourthwall reviews cases more transparently and gives sellers a meaningful opportunity to appeal before permanently closing their stores.

Fourthwall has a zero tolerance policy for fraud. There are over 500k users on the platform, 99.9% of whom are legitimate and are never impacted.

Fraudsters will continue to have an extremely disappointing experience on Fourthwall.

Easy to Use, Flexible Expansion Needed

Overall, Fourthwall has been a great platform to work with. It's an excellent choice for beginners who are starting an ecommerce business and are willing to learn.

My biggest suggestion would be to allow store owners to connect more third-party print-on-demand providers beyond the ones currently supported. It would also be helpful to have an easier way to integrate products from outside providers without requiring upfront costs from those providers. That flexibility would give creators more product options while allowing them to keep everything managed through their Fourthwall store.

Overall, I've had a positive experience, and I think Fourthwall is a great platform for new ecommerce entrepreneurs looking to build and grow their brand.

I have generally been satisfied with the platform, but my recent experience has been very disappointing.

My monthly payout has not been sent, and I have contacted support multiple times over the past week without receiving any response. In the past, I would usually receive a reply within hours or within a day, so the lack of communication is concerning.

I understand that payout delays can happen, but keeping creators informed is essential. Even a simple update explaining the situation would be appreciated.

I hope Fourthwall resolves this quickly and improves its customer support response times. I will update this review if the issue is resolved.

Shop Closed Without Evidence of Any Chargebacks

My experience with Fourthwall has been extremely disappointing.

My shop was brand new and had only two small orders, both placed by family members as a way to support and encourage my new business. These were not suspicious transactions, and the amounts involved were very small.

Despite this, my shop was permanently closed for alleged chargebacks and fraudulent activity. I personally contacted the buyers and confirmed that neither of them filed a chargeback or payment dispute.

I was not provided with any evidence to support these accusations, yet my shop was shut down and the orders were refunded.

I believe businesses deserve transparency and clear proof before such serious actions are taken.

I am sharing my experience so that others can be aware of how this situation was handled and can make informed decisions before using Fourthwall.

Impossible cancellation policies, delayed sales data, and terrible support

UPDATE 2: They did like I said, ignored me for days even though I reached within 8 minutes of discovering their website doubled order something for a customer. Sent out 6 emails over 3 days like they say in heir response below and they still printed and shipped the duplicate order. This company is wrong.

UPDATE: Fourthwall responded to the OG review and said they would fix it. I did what they said and 2 days later they have yet to respond. I stand by everything I said and more. Really disgusting "customer service"

After using Fourthwall for a year, I am completely done with them. A website glitch caused a customer to get double-charged for an order. The customer notified me 98 minutes after the purchase. Here is the absolute scam of their system: Fourthwall has a strict 90-minute order cancellation window. However, they do not notify creators of a sale until 24 hours after it happens. It is literally impossible to cancel a glitched order within 90 minutes if the platform keeps you completely blind to the sale for the first 23 hours. When I tried to cancel the duplicate order, the system blocked it and said I could only issue a refund. Because I run a good business, I refunded my customer out of my own pocket for Fourthwall's website error. When you try to get help, you are trapped in a loop with a worthless AI support bot. They claim they are escalating the issue and make you wait 24 hours. They use this exact 24-hour delay to play a game. Once the time passes, they claim the item has already been printed and packaged (which takes weeks in reality) so they can pocket your profit. I have tried to escalate this three times and have heard absolutely nothing back. Underhanded, slimy, and complete garbage customer service. Avoid this company if you value your profits and your sanity. I am actively looking for other platforms

You'll never be on the hook for platform bugs or issues that prevent things from working as they should.

Just to note because it is a public page, most items are produced and ship in 1-3d, so this isn't a "game" on our end. We try to move things as fast as possible.

That said, it's absolutely our miss that we didn't get back to you in under 24h (should be even faster), and we'll make sure this is corrected going forward. We'll make sure to cover this refund for you in full.

Ho scelto loro principalmente perché sono dei MOR, se vendi internazionalmente, ti tolgono tantissimo lavoro, grattacapi e spese burocratiche. Penso sia questo il loro cavallo di battaglia, prima utilizzavo Shopify ma se vendi in tutto il mondo diventa complicato se non hai un team che si occupa di fiscalità e burocrazia varia. Con Fourthwall ho risolto la maggior parte di questi problemi. Lo consiglio? Lo straconsiglio! Grazie di esistere.

Poor customer service! Didn’t receive a response!

Poor customer service! Very unprofessional and unacceptable. I have been trying to connect my Fourthwall store to TikTok shop. My TikTok shop store has been approved. I came to find out, my TikTok store is disabled because the company needs to provide a warehouse ID. I kept escalating my case, but no response. I didn’t have any issues connecting my store to YouTube, but they refused to help me with my TikTok store. Customer service has really ruined the experience for me. When you have issues with your store, expect NO RESPONSE! I guess my TikTok shop will never appear on my TikTok account! This is ridiculous!

Setting up the account and store was easy. I really like that it gives you example store setups and lets you alter it to your own style! I also love that setting up tiers to connect to my other socials are easy as well.

Weeks of waiting

Weeks of waiting, no mugs, only promises and excuses

I really wanted Fourthwall to succeed because the platform itself looks great. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing.

I ordered custom mugs for my growing community and months later they are still not delivered. Every time I contact support, I receive polite and professional replies, but nothing actually changes. New explanations keep appearing: customs, documents, processing queues, compliance reviews, replacement orders... but there is still no product and no tracking movement.

Meanwhile, other merchandise like shirts has arrived without problems, making the mug situation even harder to understand.

As a content creator, this hurts my reputation because I have followers waiting for products that I recommended and promised would arrive.

Support has been friendly, especially Daniel, who has always responded professionally. However, friendly emails cannot replace actual delivery.

I am now forced to rely on PayPal Buyer Protection and seriously considering moving my entire store to another provider.

If Fourthwall eventually resolves this, I will happily update this review. Until then, I can only rate my experience based on reality:

Months of waiting, no mugs, no clear timeline, and no confidence that the issue will be solved.

Pros:

Nice platform
Good website integration
Friendly support staff

Cons:

Extremely poor order fulfillment for mugs
Repeated delays
No visible progress
Customers left waiting for months
Creator reputation affected

I sincerely hope Fourthwall improves, but based on my experience I cannot recommend it at this time.

I really like Fourthwall

I'm pretty new to Fourthwall but so far so good. I do find the products are slightly limited but for now I'm only creating mugs and journals. I wish you could put the design on the whole journal not just a tiny area on the front. Customer service is really good.

I love this company!

The best customer service for anything like this is company-wide. Also, the embroidered products are extremely top-notch. I have tried quite a few shops, and this one's hands down the best I've found! If you're on edge about starting your store, just go for it, thank me later.

The company is some scam

The company is some scam. They have charged me for something for the past 4 months without me realising and keep trying to charge me £4.80 for something I never signed up for. I have never used the site and never agreed to pay them. This is some kind of fraud scam and people need to be wary of this. I dont know how they grt my details, but theyve been blocked now. It's diabolical to scam people during a cost of living crisis. I have the evidence so yheres no point in denying it.
