Top rated product and customer services.

Ordered the blind which took approximately 4 weeks to arrive which is more than acceptable with a bespoke product. When the order arrive it was packaged very well and all parts were received in great condition. Unfortunately due to an measuring error by myself the blind did not fit and was too large, I phoned customer services who were extremely helpful and once new measurements were confirmed they quickly collected the blind and within 2 weeks returned it. It is now fitted and works very well at blocking the light out.

The product and customer services is the best I have experienced in a while from a company. Really could not do enough to help a customer.

Review of Power Tools Direct

First class service

The website is easy to navigate and everything which I needed could be found with ease. Communication was 5* even through these difficult times for any company. I placed an order online and then due to the project no longer going ahead, the parts which were ordered were no longer required. I emailed Power tools Direct as soon as I could to let them know. They dealt with my request quickly and efficiently and refunded me on the same day.
I will defiantly use them again for anything in the future.

Ups and downs

On the day of the installation after taking a day off work was told they had sent my windows to the wrong place and that by the time they got the windows there would not be enough time to fit them that day. So I asked them to come on Friday afternoon which they put some resistance to but finally said they would and would have to come Saturday to finish them, which I was happy with. The installers turned up on time and got all the windows in on the Friday afternoon, so on the Saturday all they had to do was do the finishing touches.

I have now had the windows for 3 months and have thought something is not right with them. When the sun is on them the internal pane of glass gets hot to the point where it is uncomfortable to touch. To the point where my house gets to between 27-30 C, which is very uncomfortable.

After talking to 6 people at Anglian and being told "its glass sir it will get hot" someone was meant to be coming out today to make sure everything was correct with the windows, but that was 3 hours ago.

When I called them and asked the woman was very helpful and tried her best to find out what had happened but all she could tell me was that they didn't know where the guy was and he wasn't answering his mobile phone.

My mum has the same windows in her house and her do not do what mine do. When she told Anglian where she is they told her to tell me to get someone out to check them and that they did not sound correct.

It would seem they don't offer much of an aftercare service!

New way to shop!

I bought my sofa from the Slough Branch. It was the most positive experience shopping for a sofa I had.

I went to lots of different shops and because these other shops are all on commission based salary, it feels like the staff stalk you round the shop so that they get the sale.

When I found the sofa that I liked in sofa works and went there many times and every time they were so very helpful and relaxed, staff in sofa works are not on commission so it does not matter to them if they sell or not, this make the experience so relaxed and not pushy. The sales people in these stores are the new generation of sales personnel. They tell you lots of information about everything, they talk to you like a person.

I can not recommend sofa works enough. The whole experience from ordering to delivery was positive.

Review of Garden Buildings Direct

Good customer service

Although i can not review the quality of the product, I can review the customer service side. I have read a lot of negative things about the support from customer service team and although I do believe these, I can positively say I have had a very good experience with them. I had to cancel my order because of moving house due to my career, so I completed the cancel my order form on the website and today followed it up with a phone call and the lady was very helpful and told me that this had been canceled and they were processing my refund which I would have in 2 - 5 days. The reason for only 4 starts is because I can not review the product.
