Host HTML File
Terms of Service
Last updated: October 14, 2026
These terms cover Host HTML File at hosthtmlfile.com, including published HTML, signed-in projects, guest previews, the CLI and Skill, and paid plans. By using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
The service
Host HTML File hosts static HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, fonts, and other static assets as a browser preview. It is a review link, not production hosting. It does not provide a private database, a server-side application runtime, or access control against someone who already has the link.
Accounts
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity on your account, including publishes from the browser, CLI, or Skill. Keep access to the Google account you use to sign in.
Your content
You keep ownership of the files and text you upload. You give Host HTML File permission to store, reproduce, display, and deliver that content so we can operate the preview, apply plan limits, and enforce these terms. You confirm that you have the rights needed to publish it.
Acceptable use
You may not use Host HTML File to:
- Break the law or someone else's rights.
- Publish malware, phishing, credential theft, or a page that impersonates a login or payment flow.
- Publish sexual content involving minors.
- Send spam, or evade guest and account publish limits.
- Probe, disrupt, or overload the service or the people who open a preview.
- Continue a use we have already told you to stop.
We may scan, refuse, unpublish, or block content and accounts that break these rules.
Preview links
Anyone with a preview URL can open the files. noindex is not a privacy or access-control feature. On Max, anyone with the project link can read and overwrite /__hosthtmlfile/state. Do not put secrets, credentials, or confidential customer information in a preview or in that JSON.
Plans, billing, and how long links stay up
Free, Pro, and Max limits are described on the pricing page, including project counts, upload size, Lanvo subdomains, and how long a link stays online. The prices on that page are the prices that apply. A customer's first yearly subscription includes 1 month free before that yearly price is charged. Paid plans are billed by Stripe on the cycle you choose and renew until you cancel. Canceling stops the next renewal. Access for a period you already paid for can continue until that period ends. Stripe may add tax where it is required.
Today, a guest link lasts 1 hour, a Free link lasts 1 day, a Pro link lasts 30 days, and a Max link is kept as a permanent preview. A guest HTML file is limited to 1 MB, and a guest ZIP to 3 MB. We can change prices or limits by updating the pricing page. A change applies to new purchases and later renewals.
Guest previews
You can publish one HTML file or a ZIP without an account. That preview expires after 1 hour. While it is still live, you can delete it from the page that created it. Each browser can create one temporary preview.
Availability
Host HTML File is provided as available. Previews can expire, fail, or be removed. We may suspend the service, a project, or an account to operate, secure, or repair Host HTML File, or to enforce these terms.
Intellectual property
Host HTML File, the site, and our branding remain ours. Your uploaded content remains yours, subject to the permission you give us to host it. You may not copy the service itself, resell access, or misrepresent a preview as an official Host HTML File page.
Disclaimers
Host HTML File is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that a preview will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a production launch. You are responsible for reviewing a page before you send the link to anyone else.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Host HTML File is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or from a preview being seen, changed, expired, or removed. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for Host HTML File in the three months before the claim.
Ending access
You may stop using Host HTML File at any time and delete your projects. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, creates risk for other people, or remains unused after we have asked you about it. Sections that should survive, including ownership of your content, disclaimers, and limits on liability, still apply after access ends.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the date above. If you keep using Host HTML File after an update, you accept the revised terms.
