The chosen setting was great for conversation and getting to know others. Those that were inviting were welcoming, and I had a great time conversation with fellow seekers of new friendships and relationships.

Great meeting with like minded guys. Convenient location. Nice to have a small group with similar ages and experiences.

I was bit reserve in attending. I don’t think I am special because there is a cloud of mystery going into the event. Our group was small, 4 in all, however it led to nice intimate setting to meet others. How I would improve event, I would look at the reserved attendance and strategize a more central location for all.

The guys who were present were super nice guys. Dinner was great as well

It's a great idea to actually get people together and not waste so much time on apps. Nice to see difference restaurants and can recommend then or go back again.

Impressive First Experience. The care taken in curating this dinner impressed me. The other guests matched my interests and other criteria I had selected. Conversations flowed easily and some new connections made. The restaurant had a good ambiance and was quiet enough to engage with other guests. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to shallow digital apps.

I enjoyed my experience greatly. I guess there was supposed to be seven men there, but it ended up being four which I actually think is the perfect amount we were able to carry on conversation between the four of us very easily and ended up staying for three hours.

Clean, casual venue offering excellent selection of tasteful Mexican food. Atmosphere was conducive to conversation among the 6 who arrived and were flavorful and excited to share with everyone. Overall it was a nice way to meet new people with common threads, and interesting enough to last two hours getting to know one another.

It seems like the population in the Fort Lauderdale area is more mature than other cities, so not sure it’s for me. I’m 46, the 6 other who joined were over 60! At least 15-20 years older than me.

I understand they can’t control the age of the people who register to these events, but it makes sense that the FLL area is more populated with older gay men, which is usually not my crowd. Some of them were my dad’s age.

Some of the guys at the dinner, who attended previous dinners said they sometimes met the same people in other dinners as well and not a new group every time.

My time is valuable, and if you can’t guarantee that the attendees will be closer to my age or younger (most of my friends are in their 30’s or 40’s), I’m not interested.

In terms of the venue, it was not a good place, food was over priced and not worth the money. I’m not really into Italian places as well, so overall it was 30 mins ride to the restaurant and back home for dinner that I just wanted to end as it started.

The idea of Mingleo is great! Love the concept, but I’d rather they at least tell me in advance the ages of the attendees, or let me know not to show up if the average age gap is over 10 years so I can opt out. It feels like they just let ANYONE that registers show up and not carefully select a group of people around the same age. If there aren’t enough people in FLL that you can curate the party by age and interests, there’s no point to it.

Also, the customer service is 100% AI. I cancelled my subscription and got an email about it. I sent my feedback and I received within less than a minute (!!!!) a REALLY long email answering my feedback. No human can write a detailed feedback email that quickly!

Not going to attend again! Was a waste of time and money

Just got back from my first Mingleo meet up. We had a group of 7 and everyone was super friendly and the restaurant was great. Looking forward to the next one.

The concept is wonderful. The logistics are challenging for metro Detroit area participants. Many of the venues are near the downtown area and not conveniently located for the many suburban living men who attend. Is there a way to recalculate meeting location based on the participants? PS - appreciated the round table this evening.

The restaurant was great. Food was good at a good price point. Location was very convenient for me, and service was excellent. My dinner companions were mostly very nice, people I think I would enjoy getting to know. So far, the nicest evening I’ve spent through Mingleo.

More people came and they were closer in age and we all connected

Honestly, such a nice night and pleasant surprise. Gets you out of your comfort zone and get to meet people you otherwise wouldn’t.

Not every group is a hit, but when it is, it’s absolutely worth it. It’s too early to tell, but I feel like I’m definitely succeeding at growing my social group in the area.

Great idea and service. Met some really interesting people and would recommend it to anyone seeking meaningful connections in London.
