Privacy Policy

Overview

CryptonicTools (“we”, “the site”) is a free crypto utility hub. We do not require accounts, do not operate a user database for portfolios or calculators, and do not sell personal data.

Data we do not collect

We do not ask for email, name, phone, government ID, or payment details to use the tools. We do not custody crypto or hold wallet balances. Security tools (wallet QR, BIP39 phrase checks, password strength) run in your browser and are not designed to transmit seeds, private keys, passwords, or addresses to our servers.

Browser storage (localStorage)

Some features store preferences on your device only — for example theme (light/dark), portfolio holdings drafts, and calculator inputs you choose to keep. Clearing site data in your browser deletes them.

Server logs and hosting

The site is hosted on infrastructure such as Vercel. Standard request logs (IP address, user-agent, URL, timestamps, error diagnostics) may be processed for security, abuse prevention, and reliability. We do not use those logs to build marketing profiles.

Third-party services

Live prices, charts, and coin metadata are fetched primarily from CoinGecko. When that feed is unavailable we may use FreeCryptoAPI (if configured), CoinLore, and Binance market data, plus open FX multipliers for some fiat quotes. Sentiment indexes such as Fear & Greed may come from Alternative.me. Your browser (or our API routes acting as a cache proxy) contacts those providers under their respective privacy terms. We do not control how those providers process requests. See Methodology for the fallback order.

Some pages include outbound affiliate / referral links to exchanges (for example Binance or MEXC). Clicking those links takes you to a third-party site governed by that partner’s privacy policy and terms. CryptonicTools does not embed partner tracking pixels or SDKs by default; any cookies or identifiers set after you leave our domain are controlled by the partner. Analytics and performance

We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate traffic (pages viewed and similar) and Vercel Speed Insights for real-user performance metrics such as Core Web Vitals. These are privacy-friendly hosting features; we do not use Google Analytics or advertising networks today. More detail is in the Cookie Policy.

Public machine-readable indexes

Like a sitemap for search engines, we also publish /llms.txt and /llms-full.txt so AI assistants can discover our tools and documentation. These files contain only public site descriptions and links, not personal data.

International users

CryptonicTools is available worldwide. Hosting and API providers may process technical data in multiple regions. By using the site you understand that request metadata may cross borders as part of normal CDN and cloud operation.

Children's privacy

The site is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
