Configuration

App Configuration

Configure your app identity, features, and navigation. Use the dedicated references for environment variables and provider settings.

Start with the configuration files that define application identity and user-facing navigation:

FilePurpose
src/config/app.tsApp and brand identity, URLs, and company links
src/config/navigation.tsDashboard and admin navigation
src/config/env.tsTyped runtime settings and feature flags

Use this page as an orientation, not an exhaustive list of every option. The Environment Variables reference documents runtime settings; feature-specific guides cover their own configuration.

App identity

Set your app name, canonical URL, brand details, and contact links in src/config/app.ts. Keep the display name, logo, icons, and legal contact information consistent with your product. Environment-backed identity values and their defaults are described in the environment variable reference.

Features and providers

Feature availability and provider selection are controlled by environment settings and exposed through the typed env object in src/config/env.ts. Feature flags default to enabled unless documented otherwise; disable unused features in your deployment configuration and remove their navigation links where appropriate.

See the Environment Variables reference for supported flags and provider settings, and the relevant guides for authentication, payments, and AI.

Navigation

Edit src/config/navigation.ts to change dashboard and admin sidebar items. Navigation entries can be associated with a feature flag so disabled features are not shown. The same feature setting must also protect the corresponding route; hiding a link alone is not access control.

Marketing content

The included marketing site is example product content, not a required part of your application. Before launch, replace its claims, copy, images, legal pages, and public documentation with material for your own product. See Content Management for replacing the shipped content.

Reading environment settings

Server-side code should use the typed env object from src/config/env.ts rather than reading process.env directly. This keeps validation and defaults centralized. For the complete list of documented variables, see Environment Variables.
