I've got the contents of my package stolen, so an empty package in my letterbox. Neighbours mentioned they often heard about delivery drivers potentially stealing the contents of some packages. PostNL disappeared when it came to refunding it. On other deliveries, PostNL never notified me they were sending the package; they say they tried to deliver, but they didn't.

1.07.2026 I've send a package to Poland. It should be delivered between 6-7.07 and it's still not. I've contact PostNL to ask about any updates bacuse the only one I still have is "your package is with us and we are preparing it for its journey to Poland". Chatbot Daan wasn't helpful so I was finally connected with one of the emplyees. I asked for any updates and I got a message that package probably was delayed and I have to wait till 15.07. If it still won't be delivered then I will get shipping cost back and they won't make any investigation about what happened with my package because of the shipping method I choose (with T&T). I didn't have a chance to answer because chat was disconnected right after that message. I've send a parfume in that package so I've lost way more than just a shipping cost and seems like no one care about that and no one want to take responsibility for what happened. This was my first and definitelly last time when I shipped something by PostNL.

i would say blame the people who order huge amount of stuff from china... that's why they changed the import rules but postnl is greedy... since 1 july 2026 for every product you have to pay €3 customs duty fee but asking an extra €10 (handling fees).... is not ok!!! i ordered from japan and paid vat in advance etc via ioss and i still had to pay them €10 (handling fees)

It is sheer fraud
It is sheer fraud, I have ordered products and my package weight was 19KG. At the day of delivery I was home all day and the post did not show up. I was unable to pick up such a heavy parcel 1.5km further from my home as I do not own a car and it is hard to transport large item on my bike. Later on the supplier charged me for the package claiming that the driver recorded being at my adress. I am 100% sure he did not ring the bell since he did not want to bring the heavy package to the door.

Parcel in random mailbox... again
This is the second time the delivery person has put my package in a random mailbox. In my building, all packages are always left in the lobby. That’s why I never include my apartment number—so they don’t put my packages in a mailbox. I receive packages all the time, but this is the second time a PostNL delivery person has put a package in a random mailbox. The PostNL tracking email says “delivered to mailbox 42 02.” I don’t have access to that mailbox or any other one. I looked as best I could inside the mailbox, and it WASN’T there. Last night I had to check about 100 mailboxes one by one to find it, and I hurt my hand trying to pull it out. It’s an important package—I had to pay customs duties on it, and the final price is around 100 euros. It really upsets me that the delivery person, instead of leaving packages inside the building like EVERYONE ALWAYS does, puts it in some random mailbox that doesn’t even match the one listed in the delivery confirmation. This time I was able to pull it out by hand (even though I hurt myself), but last time it was impossible and I lost the package. And next time? What would have happened if I’d lost this package too? Who would have taken responsibility? You guys? Will you take responsibility if it happens again? I’m really upset about this situation.
Absolute useless
Absolute useless. Nobody work in this place. Nobody knows anything. If you think to use it to mail anything , just dont. Delivery is never on time , they throw fragile packages over the fance , they dont respect the delivery point and last time i was watching the driver from the window , he did not even go out of the car , he select that i am not home and left. Ohh and they do not give you the packages back if the delivery fails. They just "lose it".

Dit bedrijf is echt een complete grap geworden en een goed voorbeeld van wat er tegenwoordig mis is met klantenservice. Jullie hebben alle vestigingen gesloten, het personeel van de klantenservice ontslagen en vervangen door een veel te dure chatbot die nooit echt helpt.
Op dit punt betaal ik met alle plezier €5 extra voor de verzending als mijn pakket dan tenminste wél goed wordt bezorgd. Op de een of andere manier weten jullie iedere keer weer mijn pakket verkeerd af te handelen. Het is eerlijk gezegd ongelofelijk dat dit elke keer opnieuw gebeurt.

This company has become a complete joke, and it's a perfect example of what's wrong with customer service these days. You closed all your branches, laid off your customer support staff, and replaced them with an overpriced chatbot that never actually helps.
At this point, I'd gladly pay an extra €5 for shipping if it meant my package would be delivered correctly. Somehow, you've managed to mess up every single one of my deliveries. It's honestly unbelievable that this keeps happening.

Didn't hear the doorbell at all and suddenly received a message: "Refused the delivery, returning to the sender." Contacted the cs to stop the return, but of course there was no luck. It's a foreign package that I have been waiting for 2 weeks and have paid the import tax!!

Terrible service but the main fault is…
Terrible service but the main fault is from AliExpress that give the spedition to them. PostNL hands over shipments to BRT in Italy without any advance notice. Endless delays, no support, and completely unreliable tracking. A total disaster, to avoid for your health.
