Bad experience with Voltas

Bad experience with Voltas. Product stopped working within 1yr . Service team is slow , rude behaviour and unhelpful. Regret buying this brand. Would not recommend to anyone."
Supporting team is also not responding and I have complained many times but no one has visited even they are not responding properly
Very very very very disappointed with this voltas service

Me voltas ki 2 new ac liya but unka first service ke liye 10 bar toll free number per complaint kar chuka but koi solution nahi mila, gwalior me service Center bale gunde hai jo call lagane per battamizi se bat karte hai, koi mujhe bataye voltas ki complaint me kisse karu or court case kese karu

Very Bad service...

Very Bad service...
I have called to voltas customer care for servicing of my AC they have tell me the service charges of 590/- but their representative have tell me to gave 900/-. One representative from voltas have come at my home and he has done the servicing of my AC. After two days of servicing there have a problem occurred with my AC of water liking....After then I have called again to voltas and they said that if you want to resolve your problem then our representative will again visit and take 590/- again..
As per my above mentioned quote this is the wrong thing that have been done by voltas against me..

Extremely disappointing product and worst after-sales service experience – Voltas not recommended

I purchased a Voltas AC trusting the Tata brand reputation, quality, and reliability. Unfortunately, my experience has been completely opposite.

My AC issue has been pending for more than 3 weeks under Service Request #26061014010, and despite repeated follow-ups and escalations, I have not received any proper resolution or support from Voltas.

The biggest disappointment is not only the product issue but the way the service team handled it. The technician delayed the visit repeatedly, kept assuring that he was coming but failed to show up. When he finally visited, he only checked the outdoor unit visually and immediately concluded that there was no gas and only gas filling was required. No proper testing, pressure checking, or diagnostic procedure was performed.

I agreed to proceed with the gas filling as suggested by the technician, but again they delayed the work and did not return. The next day, without proper inspection or any further testing, they suddenly changed their statement and said the unit needs to be taken to the service center and major parts like coil/condenser may require replacement.

This raises serious concerns — how can such conclusions be made without proper diagnosis?

The most frustrating part is that even after escalating the matter to Voltas, there has been no meaningful intervention. The same service center continues repeating their statements without addressing the actual facts.

I bought this AC for my family's comfort and convenience, paying a premium price considering Voltas as a trusted Tata brand. However, the after-sales experience has been extremely poor, stressful, and disappointing.

A company’s reputation is not built only by selling millions of products; it is maintained by how customers are treated after purchase.

I also own ACs from other brands and have never experienced such poor support. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in Voltas.

My recommendation: Voltas is NOT recommended. Based on this experience, I will never purchase any Voltas product again and will not suggest Voltas products to anyone.

Voltas/Tata management needs to seriously review their third-party service network because such service quality is damaging the brand reputation built over years.

Very Disappointing Service Experience with Voltas AC
Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend purchasing a Voltas AC in Nashik due to the poor response after-sales service.

I raised a complaint regarding poor cooling almost two months ago. A senior engineer assigned the case to Guru Patil, but when I contacted him, he he did not pick up my call. After one month he called me that I have assigned a Engineer you have given otp for reschedule . After giving otp he closed the complain. Again I have riser a complain and still waiting.. very bad service provider at At Nashik .Guru Patil

Such a worst experience with voltas

Such a worst experience with voltas. They are just there to cheat and will come upto you as soon as problem occurs just to get the feedback which they require a lot and take money from you.The next day the product again will get problem and they will say it is covered under warranty.what is meaning of covered under warranty,that the fault will come again within next day.They just fool you by saying that some parts have been taken out of the ac and they are not able to get the fault.Do not get into this trap.

Very Disappointing Service Experience with Voltas AC

Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend purchasing a Voltas AC in Dehradun due to the poor after-sales service.

I raised a complaint regarding poor cooling almost two months ago. A senior engineer assigned the case to Ravinder, but when I contacted him, he said it was not his area and asked me to speak with the supervisor. Despite multiple calls, no one visited. After escalating the matter through customer care, Ravinder finally came and said the AC was fine and that the gas leakage issue had been resolved.

However, the cooling problem continued. After waiting another two months and making several follow-ups, another technician visited and said they could not check for leakage because they did not have nitrogen and would do it the next day. Later, I was told that another team handles that work. Since then, there has been no response despite repeated calls. The service center keeps saying they have “fast-forwarded” my request, but the issue is still unresolved.

The product may be good, but the service experience has been extremely disappointing. If you are in Dehradun, I would strongly suggest considering other brands with better after-sales support.

Extremely disappointed with Voltas AC service and support.
I have raised multiple complaints regarding the temperature/cooling issue in my AC, but till now there has been absolutely no proper response from the company side.

I contacted customer support several times through both calls and WhatsApp support, but every time I only received false assurances. Neither did I receive any callback from the service team nor was any technician visit scheduled properly.

This is one of the worst after-sales service experiences I have ever faced. Once the product is sold, it feels like the company completely ignores customers. An AC is an essential appliance, especially in this heat, and such careless behavior from a reputed brand like Voltas is completely unacceptable.

Complaint after complaint has been raised, but there is:

* No proper communication
* No technician support
* No issue resolution
* No accountability from customer care

I trusted the Voltas brand, but now I seriously regret purchasing this AC. If anyone is planning to buy a Voltas AC, please think twice before purchasing because after-sales service is extremely poor and frustrating.

Very unprofessional support system and highly disappointing customer experience.

Complaint Regarding Defective Voltas Freezer Within Warranty Period
Dear Sir,
I would like to inform you i am amit kumar Daltonganj jharkhand Mob No 9354497790that I purchased a Voltas freezer approximately three months ago. Unfortunately, due to a technical issue, the freezer has stopped working properly.
When I contacted the service center, I was asked to pay a service charge of ₹3,000. Since the product is only three months old and is expected to be under warranty, I do not find this charge reasonable.
I kindly request that you investigate this matter and arrange for the issue to be resolved as soon as possible. I also request that the service be provided in accordance with the warranty terms.

My worst experience

I am extremely disappointed with the delay in my AC installation. It has already been three days, and the installation has still not been completed.

Initially, Mr. Deva Prakash was assigned for the installation, but he was unable to visit. Later, Mr. Manikandan was assigned, but he has not responded to any of my calls since morning.

The lack of communication and repeated delays have caused significant inconvenience. This level of service is completely unacceptable. I request immediate action to complete the installation and improve coordination and customer support to prevent such issues in the future.

Very poor service from Voltas. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend others to think twice before choosing Voltas. Customers expect timely installation and proper communication, but unfortunately, neither has been provided in my case.

Defective Voltas AC and Unprofessional sales n service

This review is about Voltas AC's and my expereince as Thane citizen. I guess Voltas is the worst company to deal with. I bought the AC on 13 the May 2026 almost 3.5 weeks ago. Technician installed it. The AC cooled the room for 1 day and then stopped cooling. Upon requesting the seller, I was told it is due to humidity / moisture and should settle in 4 days. I waited and informed them that all other ACs were cooling except this one. Finally they agreed to send the technician who came and told us that the piece was defective and suggested i should ask for replacement. Got replacement after another 1 week. Then the actual installation of the new unit is still not done. I was told that they dont have enough technicians. I feel cheated and robbed. 1. They gave me 2024 model in 2026 without informing me. 2. They made me pay extra Rs.1000 odd for EMI (when i wasnt keen on EMI) under the disguise of providing discount. They gave me a Remote which has Wifi function but AC doesnt & on top of that they gave me a defective model and the replacement after multiple followups which is still to be installed. I would say go for any other brand but NOT Voltas.

Worst company ever we registered…

Worst company ever we registered complaint 21 May today is 30 May no one contact and no one attend complaint even company senior consultant didn't pick call worst company ever i seen, I have three ac Daikin mitsubishi but volts didn't listen.
