Fraud !
I used this company to purchase $400 worth of NEW gift cards at a discount of $375 from another company. The other company received the order and issued the gift cards then a few days later GCX charged back the order from that company which caused the other company to disable the gift cards they issued and mark GCX transaction as fraud. This all happened on the backend without me knowing until i went to use the gift cards just to find out they were marked as fraudulent. GCX refused to refund my money due to their 90 day policy even though they were the fraudulent party. In short they stole the entire $375 and are refusing to give in back in anyway shape or form. I'm in contact with my credit card company and will be contacting the BBB towards this company's fraudulent behavior.
Can't add Paypal for payout…
I do not see anyway to add Paypal as a Payment option. The Chat says it is in Payout Preferences but these is nothing in my account that has this title. The Chat supposedly escalated to Customer Support and I was supposed to get a response with 24 hours but its been 3 days and NADA.
Misleading "90-Day Guarantee" – Zero Support for Defective Cards
Avoid this company. I purchased a gift card that arrived with a $0 balance from day one. I never used it. When I opened a support ticket to get this resolved, customer service completely refused to help, closed my request, and shifted the burden of proof entirely onto me. They are forcing me to contact the merchant myself to do their investigative work instead of honoring their policy. Their "90-Day Money-Back Guarantee" is a complete joke with zero buyer protection or accountability. Highly disappointed.
This is a follow-up of a previous 1…
This is a follow-up of a previous 1 star review. It took GCX 10 days to respond, but only after they saw my review on Trustpilot. I have never heard back from their chatbot support team which it says will respond in 24 hours. I have literally spent about $40,000 on Raise and GCX and this is the first time I have run into a problem where $2,000 of my money has just disappeared from my Home Depot gift cards. I don’t care if they do say they have a 90 day guarantee policy. They collected a fee from me to help keep their site legal, yet they allowed someone else access to my cards. That is illegal. This site is now a scam site and I will no longer be buying from them. I understand why they keep their contact information a secret because otherwise they would be in jail from all the police reports that people are trying to file against them. I haven’t given up…I will still find some way to report them.
Vanishing cards if held by GCX
I’ve been buying and holding a large number of gift cards purchased from Raise and GCX. They were held in my account on the site. All electronic, no physical cards. All my cards suddenly disappeared recently and I have had absolutely no success in communicating with the company. My loss will be in the thousands of dollars. And it appears that there’s not much you can do about it. I will contact my bank. Beware.

Horribly difficult process to claim gift cards Steer Clear
I received a gift card from someone as a gift. To be able to redeem it you first must register provide all of your personal details and set up an account and absolute painful process no doubt with my information being sold to God knows where like most other companies these days.
Then the process declaim the gift card and immediately cancel your account is almost impossible having to submit a support ticket after verifying your email please stay well clear of this site

GCX- A Sham Business
I purchased Ann taylor GC worth $298 on 11/29/25 on GCX platform. I used it towards an initial purchase of $134.12 on the same day. Tried to use the remaining balance of $163.88 towards an in-store purchase at Ann Taylor on May 24, 2026. However, the gift card did not work despite multiple tries giving an error " your transaction was not processed". This is a huge balance amount sitting on the card. I have been a loyal GCX customer, and it is frustrating to have a gift card not working when it is supposed to be valid for a year.
GCX does malpractices. They host those e-gift cards on their platform, and its pretty clear they siphon those off or resell those e-gift cards past 90 days. Their 90-day guarantee is a sham. Ever heard of a gift card that becomes invalid after 90 days ? Reason is they operate like crooks taking away consumer s hard earned money put into the gift card. Not having a phone number or face to the customer service means they become even more shameless and unethical. How long can such a business thrive when the foundation is about cheating customers.

GCX's slippage from greatness
I have been a long, long loooong time member of this company. I started with them when they were Raise. Unfortunately, since GCX acquired Raise, they have cheapened their product/service.
First Raise had a one year guarantee on gift cards, then GCX lowered it to 90 days. Raise was also reachable by phone, GCX has taken that away. Raise would give out special discounts to their members every once in awhile, GCX has never done so. The most recent thing GCX has done is add a surcharge to each card you buy. My last attempt at buying two cards resulted in an almost 10% "platform fee" as they call it. Obviously eats away at any discount they state they give you. Oh, if you do have an issue with a card, be prepared to have a tennis game with customer care. Yes they do reply. Sometimes slow, but they do. However, they will then ask you multiple questions regarding what, when where and how your card was used. To their credit, they will refund the card if it was a legit loss on your part, but it is not an easy path. All in all, they just keep finding away to erode the once great thing Raise used to be. In this case change is definitely not better :(

Shocking customer service -SCAM
Shocking customer service. Referral scam taking place in the UK. Blocked my account and unable to claim £50 of referral credit. Customer service absolutely pointless. Went around in circles fobbing me off then just completely ignored any communication.

Buyer beware
Purchased a Darden gift card in November of 2025. Went to use it in April of 2026 only to find out that it was used in January by someone else. GCX does not offer live support. It is all through the BOT. They refused to refund my money. This is a SCAM and I would stay away from this company. I can't understand how they can sell an item to the public and not guarantee it for the life of the card. I know this a reseller but guarantee what you sell. Stay away.
UPDATE: After numerous attempts, they did finally refund me which is great. Be very careful of buying on this platform since you only have 90 days guaranteed. If you buy, use the cards fast. The policy is bad.
UPDATE #2-Your reply assumed "I understood" I don't. If you sell a gift card, I should be able to use it whenever I want, not in your time frame. You need to guarantee it or don't buy them from sketchy sellers. No wonder you have so many negative reviews.

Good place to purchase gift cards.
Used to purchase gift cards. 99percent worked. One time had a card invalid had to write to support to get refund. Haven’t been getting replies but got refund.

Funds Withdrawal Delay
I sold several gift cards on GCX and needed to withdraw my funds. The website was not allowing me to add a bank account to allow for an ACH deposit. I was also getting an error message attempting to withdraw via PayPal. I reached out to customer service and they were verrrry slow to respond. It is very concerning there is no phone number to actually speak with someone. This was a particularly alarming experience as I had over $3,000 to withdraw. It took nearly a week of going back and forth via email and eventually they made a fix on the back end and I was able to complete my withdrawal. Updating my 1 star review to a 3 star.

Thank you for literally saving me $1000's.
Have been using GCX religously last few years. Don't always have the highest % off coupons, but they have a strong variety and great customer service if any mistakes.
Thank you for literally saving me $1000's.

I've been using them for a couple of years without issues, but recently my orders stopped going through. Payments aren't charged, nothing is processed, and nothing is received. There's no explanation, messages, or notification, which makes the situation frustrating and confusing. At my age, I focus on what actually works. I've tried different platforms, and #century 100 is one that has paid me.

Account deactivated, reactivated after TP complaint
I've used this site for years without issues. Then, out of the blue, I can no longer log in. The account is deactivated. No reason given. No email to explain. Customer service is a chatbot that does nothing. GCX stole about $200-$300 worth of cards that I still have in the account, which I can no longer access.
Update 3/18/2026: GCX reached out to me and reactivated the account. Thanks.

Aditional information you may not like
Usually buying or selling with GCX goes OK, but when things go wrong, the go really bad. I had a card Starbucks card refused that was used online in the same area where GCS, then Raise, happens to be.
Twice now I have been debited for selling a card that the buyer used at least partially. According to GCX, they credited the buyer and then charged me for the full value, and now also another $5 penalty. The buyer was either a scam or incompetent, but I am the loser here. Dealing with GCX is not worth the risk. They will not get a third opportunity to screw me again. Today, I got the message that my account has been deactivated, which means I also will not get paid for a different card I sold through them. Good riddens!
You should also know that GCX is not a Better Business Bureau member although they have lots of compaints on that site.
What GCX did not tell you and I did not know at the time in their reply is that GCX credited my account, but also charged my credit card an additional $20.30. This effectively canceled the credit on their site. I will let you judge for yourselves if you think this behavior is the kind you would expect from an honest company. I disputed the charge with Citibank and now GCX is asking me to cancel the dispute before I can withdraw funds from a different sale that was supposed to be available on March 20.

Not Worth the Risk
I almost never leave negative reviews, but this is extremely disappointing.
I bought $500 in gift cards (8 total); two of them totaling $100 did not work at all. I contacted GCX and provided the documentation they requested, including vendor verification that the cards were redeemed by a different user who happened to have my same (common) first name. After many emails back and forth and significant effort on my end, they denied the refund and implied I redeemed the cards. Very frustrating.
I tried resolving this directly and in good faith, but at this point I'm going to dispute GCX's charge on my Visa. I have used Raise (now GCX) for years, but based on this experience, I will never use them again. The discount is simply not worth the risk.
