Terrible experience with Westwing Greece

This review is for Westwing Greece, which does not have its own page yet. I ordered three items, and the first two arrived on time with no issue. It was a mess dealing with this company to receive the third and most expensive item, which was weeks late. First they gave me the wrong shipping information, so I could not check the order status. Then, for over a week after I contacted them, they insisted it was with their shipping company partner in Poland and that they could not reach them. When I finally reached the shipping company in Poland myself, they informed me the item was with Westwing and had never left their warehouse. Then Westwing couldn't reach *their own warehouse* to check the item's status.

Finally it transpired that the company could not honor my purchase. It was sold out more than a month after I first ordered it, and for some reason this affected my order — even though they assured me it had been in the warehouse. Where did it go? It's unclear whether my item ever existed or they gave it to another customer and lied to me in the meantime.

This company exhibits total incompetence — there is no communication among various teams, and customers are left chasing down answers by ourselves. I regret giving them my money and my business.

I am so incredibly sorry for the mess you’ve had to deal with. Reading your review, I completely understand why you are so frustrated. It is totally unacceptable that you had to chase down information yourself, let alone get conflicting stories from our side about where your item actually was.

That lack of communication between our teams is not how we want to run things, and I can only apologize for the time and energy you lost trying to get straight answers.

I really want to look into exactly what happened with your order and warehouse stock to make sure this gets sorted out. Could you please reply with your order number? As soon as I have it, I will pull up your case and reach out to you directly via email.

Good product selection but customer service is non existent

I really like the site and the product selection - however the images on the website often do not correspond to the actual product, possibly because photographed under very bright lights. Most importantly, customer service is very slow, replies with messages such as "we have forwarded your request to the appropriate department" with zero follow-up, etc - the advertised contact tel number is not active... and so it goes. This is putting me off ordering again from the website as I do not enjoy chasing replies

If you expect any sort of customer…

If you expect any sort of customer service or product assistance- DO NOT buy from them. They are happy to take your money but once something goes wrong, they will say "sorry it's out of warranty and theres nothing we can do to help you, bye". A mechanism in my very expensive bed frame broke just 2 months after the warranty expired and I reached out to them hoping that they could direct me somewhere where I could get a spare part. But all my emails are being ignored now. Very upsetting.

reactive support for Italy and Germany

reactive customer support from Italy, Germany and France but an awful digital customer experience when you order online for a delivery in different European countries. [I had to cancel my order n° 2089854 done on Westing.fr because it couldn’t be delivered to Italy and I had to give up one item because it wasn’t available anymore!]
BETTER CHECK THE WESTWING WEBSITE AND YOUR LOCATION OF DELIVERY ADRESS BEFORE ORDERING

Order number 1181305 Westwing

Order number 1181305 - Very disappointed.Placed order on 7/6/2025 - Was promised delivery in 2/3 weeks . The goods were dispatched and never received. I have emailed support at West wing for the last 3 weeks . He keeps saying he will contact the courier . Still nothing . I emailed last Saturday and stated I would put a review on Trustpilot and contact the management in Westwing. Still nothing answer , what’s going on with this company. Very disappointing

Scam?

I ordered a hanger more than one month ago. It arrived with the wrong parts and it was ruined. I asked to the customer center of westwing and jan kurtz to send me the right part, and the part that was ruined. They said they will send the parts in few time. After almost two monts, only a piece of the two that I ordered arrived. It’s so disappointing and time wasting. I will report it to police because I’m starting to think that westwing an jan kurtz are scamming me.

I recently purchased a sofa bed from…

I recently purchased a sofa bed from Westwing, looking forward to enhancing my living space. However, my experience was soured by the delivery service provided by Italmondo Spa.
The cargo agents from Italmondo informed me that they do not prefer to bring these kinds of items to my zone. at the end, the sofa bed was dropped on the ground floor, and I had to bring it upstairs all by myself. This was not only physically challenging but also far from the service I expected.
Why are you selling a sofa bed if your delivery partners aren't willing to deliver it properly?
