The Buffy fandom, you know which part, having a massive crash out over the Emmys is so mortifying.
Anyway, Bangel YOU WILL ALWAYS BE FAMOUS!
I haven’t seen anything but I can only imagine lol. It must suck to lose all the time. Thank god the Bangel girlies stay winning since day one. Could (truly) never be us😊🥰🤪

THEY 💗
Portrait of a Lady on Fire (2019) dir. Céline Sciamma
if you’re not watching silo, you’re genuinely missing out on one of the craziest dynamics of all time. they were and have always been a united front. they agreed to play both sides. their positions of power flipped overnight. they each went in the opposite direction. you don’t know if you can trust him, and you definitely don’t trust her. more importantly - they don’t trust each other. they are married. they will actively sabotage plans, and then go home and eat dinner together with their son. they’re in love. there’s nothing (yet) that they won’t do. they’re lying and pretending they aren’t. they’re spying and pretending they didn’t. they’re making promises they know they’re going to break. they each know the other is working against them. they want to protect each other from what comes next, or before they go too far. they both believe they’re right. they each only have half of the story, and are forbidden to tell the other. they have each done horrible things, or were willing to. and they both might turn out be the ‘good guys’ in the end. craaaaazy duo

I’m doing a full rewatch of Buffy since 2021. And I’m watching it with my boyfriend who has never seen it. He wants to watch it because it means a lot to me🥰🦊
His reaction to the twists is the purest thing ever. He said “I keep thinking I figured it out and then it throws something else at me.”
We just finished episode 10 of season one and he said that it gets better with each episode. Seriously, like, whenever we finish an episode he’s like, “Actually I think this has been my favorite one so far.” (There’s only one episode he didn’t say that about and I’m sure you can guess the one lol)
He keeps mentioning the show to me and asking me questions about the mythology etc. He’s pretty hooked and he’s very locked in. I didn’t expect that until, like, season two. So this is just so heartwarming and lovely to see.
It’s kinda crazy how unique of a show it is. I know most people think I’m exaggerating when I sing it all the praises, but every single person I’ve introduced it to tells me that I really wasn’t lying lol.
I’ve seen this show, like??? 8 billion times and it still feels fresh. I notice new things, find new perspectives and appreciations. Of course, I find new criticisms as well. But anyway, long story short, long live Buffy the Vampire Slayer🧛
