Kave Home refuses to take responsibility for its own mistake
I have purchased around ten items from Kave Home, but this experience has completely changed my opinion of the company.
My bed arrived with the headboard and base in different colours, although they were supposed to match. I reported the problem on the day of delivery. Kave Home initially said they would manufacture a replacement headboard within 20 days if I confirmed the fabric.
However, Kave Home cannot identify the fabric used for the base they supplied, so how am I supposed to confirm it? There is no Kave Home store in my city, and I can only choose from online photographs.
More than a month has passed, with replies arriving only once or twice a week. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, they are asking me to guess the fabric and warning that I may have to pay if the replacement does not match.
I asked them to replace both parts in another matching fabric, but they refused. I do not understand what solution they are offering: should I risk choosing the wrong fabric, or return the entire bed?
Kave Home has turned a simple mistake into a month-long problem and has shown no real willingness to resolve it. After this experience, I am unlikely to buy from them again.
The shipping time is VERY misleading. it will be 2-3 weeks if the item is in stock.

Quality & Price
We ordered the Blok sofa, but some screws and other parts are missing, making it difficult to assemble the sofa properly. The quality is also relatively poor. You’d expect more at this price point. It’s not comparable to Westwing.

This has been one of the most disappointing customer experiences I have ever had.
My delivery was guaranteed by 7 July, yet this commitment was not respected. Even worse, my sofa and coffee table have still not been delivered, yet my order was marked as “Delivered.” Marking an order as delivered when major items have not actually been delivered is completely unacceptable and seriously undermines customer trust.
Since then, I have spent an unreasonable amount of time making phone calls, sending emails, and chasing updates. I was even expected to communicate directly with the carrier.
If customers are expected to investigate delivery issues and coordinate with the carrier themselves, then what is the purpose of having an after-sales service? Why was an after-sales agent assigned to my case if I am still expected to do the investigation, coordinate with the carrier, and follow up myself?
At no point did I feel that Kave Home took full ownership of this issue. Instead, the responsibility appeared to be shifted onto the carrier and, ultimately, onto me as the customer.
I was then informed that there could be an additional 7 to 10-day delay. Your internal logistical difficulties should never become your customer’s responsibility. Time has value, and delivery commitments are promises that should be honoured.
Instead of enjoying the furniture I purchased, I have spent my time managing a problem that should have been handled entirely by Kave Home. I paid for furniture, not for the responsibility of managing your delivery process.
For an order worth approximately €2,000, I expected professionalism, accountability, and clear communication. Instead, I experienced missed commitments, poor communication, an incorrect delivery status, and no clear resolution.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Kave Home.
