Avoid This Company – Completely Unacceptable Customer Service
Our holiday started with a major disappointment and only got worse.
We booked and paid in full for a holiday house for up to eight people more than six months before our arrival. Just before our trip, our booking was cancelled, leaving us with no real choice but to accept a replacement: a very old, worn basement apartment that was nowhere near the standard of what we had originally booked.
The apartment itself is outdated and poorly maintained. The TV has never worked, but we decided not to complain about that. We came on holiday, not to watch television.
However, what is completely unacceptable is that there has been no internet connection for the first five days of our stay. In today's world, reliable internet is a basic service, not an optional extra. We have repeatedly contacted the responsible staff every single day since our arrival, but nothing was done to resolve the problem.
As a direct result of their failure to provide the advertised service, we have already spent more than €150 on mobile data just to stay connected.
The most disappointing part is that nothing happened until we informed them that we were considering sharing our experience on social media and review platforms such as Trustpilot. Only then did someone finally come to inspect the internet connection, just to say that he will have to come back next day to solve the problem. It should never take the threat of a public review before a company starts taking its customers seriously.
The people staying in the apartment above us have experienced exactly the same internet problem, which clearly shows that this is not an isolated issue or something caused by us.
Everyone can make mistakes, and technical problems can happen. What separates a good company from a bad one is how those problems are handled. Unfortunately, this company has shown very poor communication, little sense of responsibility, and no urgency in resolving an issue that should have been treated as a priority from day one.
We understand that older accommodation may have imperfections, but cancelling a booking at the last minute, providing significantly inferior accommodation, and then leaving guests without internet for five days while ignoring repeated requests is simply unacceptable.
Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this company and would strongly advise future guests to think carefully before booking.
Declining customer support
I'm using hospitable for a few years now, i'm even paying for the priority support. But the last few weeks the support is not what it used to be, they tell me to answer in 24h hours through whatsapp but they ignore me, close the ticket abruptly without explaination. This has made me decide to switch providors because I cannot build on what i can't trust.
This is the worst channel manager ever
This is the worst channel manager ever. I spent 4 hours setting it up during a long flight. That includes bank account, listing information, verifying ID with drivers license. The program makes false listings, screws up the calendar and is absolute horrible. The AI support is a little helpful, but the hard issues it does not help. By the way, I work with software and only setting up one property. Do not use or believe this is a good program. Trust the bad app reviews and other sites. And yes, I was setting it up with my laptop.
Great product. Slow customer service.
The product is good and the team are really lovely when you speak to them but when you need help it often takes several days to get a satisfactory reply which just isn't acceptable when you're dealing with business critical issues.

Amazing company! It's one of the few companies I've come across that truly cares about their clients, is honest, trustworthy. I feel fortunate to be a client of theirs. Yes, that's crazy that I'm feeling forturnate but that's how much they care about creating a product and making it the best.

Customer service needs improvement
I paid extra for the training and gets my account up and running and I couldn't imagine being able to figure it all out myself. Even with those sessions now finished every week I need help with something or a question arises. Currently I am really disappointed in their customer service. Twice now I had an issue and a real human didn't reply back via email until two weeks later!?! They should be able to assist customers in a reasonable time frame.

Best Decision Ever
Have you ever used a product and couldn't wait to tell everybody how much you loved it? For me, it's been Hospitable! They had made my life so much easier as a host with all of their integrations. I remember the days of manually sending door codes and messages. Those days have been gone ever since I made the switch to Hospitable. I'm so thankful I found them years ago to manage my property.

Smarty can only take you so far and often is is days to weeks before you hear from someone. I love mogul options like owner portal. The onboarding process needs to be more seamless for integrating bank accounts and owners etc. Its tedious. The guest portal needs work but still great concept. Overall I can tell Hospitable is really making strides and we are happy we switched. I just hope they continue to fix the nuances that can really make things slower to start:)
Reliable and continuously improving PMS solution
We have been using Hospitable since 2023, after having experience with other PMS platforms, and it has proven to be a very useful and functional tool for managing our short term rental operations. The platform is reliable and intuitive, with a clear focus on efficiency in day to day management. Really disappointed with Hospitable's customer experience and the system is having constant issues.
I keep on experiencing double bookings like on every single booking.
Their customer support gets back to you after 4-5 days if you arr lucky and to use any integrations, apart from the Essentials plan you need to pay and upgrade.
Would I recommend this platform? Long story short "No"! I would rather use other pms/channel managers and I have already started looking and searching elsewhere.
