I love my GhostPillow, but their customer service is bad

I purchased a "GhostPillow" gel memory foam pillow, to replace another pillow I'd purchased about 4 years ago that was worn out. In terms of the actual product I received, I'm satisfied. However GhostBed as a company has terrible service, and they also shipped my pillow on a way which did not give it sufficient protection while in-transit. I actually tried to purchase this back in late May, but despite the website saying it was in stock, I was later informed that the item was backordered, and my first order was canceled. Then, when I replaced the order in July, the pillow shipped in only it's product box and no outer box, and arrived in rough condition. They REALLY should have shipped it in another box. Also, for the record, this same item now costs $30 more than it used to, which seems ridiculous, especially considering how terrible the company's customer service is. I don't know if I can really recommend them as a company, but the pillow itself is great, so that's a plus. But that's why I have the 2/5 rating. It's a good product, but the company doesn't really seem to care about its customers, and I think that's unfortunate, because it means I probably won't return, and I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending them either.

Value is really great

Happy to be a return customer for another set of GhostBed Sheets, its great having a rotating set of sheets knowing we always have a clean set to switch out at a moments notice

This bed is terrible

This bed is terrible. I haven't had a good night's sleep since I purchased it, 2 or 3 years ago. It is way too firm, it feels like I'm sleeping on a brick. And although it's the luxe and is supposed to be not as hot to sleep on, it's miserable. I'm sweating every single night. Summer or winter, doesn't matter. I regret buying this mattress and will NEVER purchase from them again! Such a waste of money...

The customer service was great

The customer service was great
I was disappointed at having to wait 3 months for sheets and eventually cancelling my order. The silk pillowcases were very thin and ripped at the zipper easily.

Unusable special offer

Ghost bed offered me a “Preferred Customer” discount off my next order (I had two purchases at that point) but when I tried to use my coupon to buy sale merch I was informed I could not combine it with any other “offer” which included sales! The only way I could use the coupon was to choose to spend more than I did without the coupon! No way to treat “preferred customers “!!!😠

Great Bed

We have owned our Ghost bed for a few years now. It has really helped out sleep patterns. I have apnea and my wife has poor leg circulation. The ability to set up the split king for each of our requirements has been great. The one disappointment has been the sheets we ordered. The flat is too small to get a proper tuck in. This has been a source of frustration.

we've had our split king for over 5…

we've had our split king for over 5 years and still as comfortable as the 1st night we slept on it. My wife liked the original mattress, but i thought it was too soft and picked out the Hybred 1 and was great. they sent it right away and after donating the 1st 1, they didn't charge me for the replacement.

Agent I spoke with was knowledgeable, nice to talk to. Ordered a part and it came as scheduled. The part, the massage motor for the legs was somewhat different. It works, is noisier than the original, and the material around it is definitely in place. Maybe a bit bigger motor than the original I suppose. It is what it is.
Bought the bed in 2021. Indicated problem I had with it, and was completely ignored then, despite a few emails. The problem was, with the legs inside somewhat, one night i dropped the remote over the side. Reached down to grab it, and the bed flipped over on top of me, with one leg putting a hole in the bedroom wall. Just thought the warning about sleeping on the edge of the bed could have been stronger. But no response.
Ultimately a friend put new legs on the bed on the outer edges. That was then, and it appears the overall service has improved.

Ghosted

this was a disgraceful experience. We were totally ghosted by Ghost Bed. We ordered our mattress and it was stuck in Delivery somewhere by FedEx. Ghost Bed was of no help trying to locate where the mattress was or deliver what we ordered. I am now on day, eight with no Mattress in our new home. customer Service had no answers and was supposed to speak with a director and get back to me that was three days ago. I am in the process of calling Amex to dispute the charge. Let the buyer beware this was a total rip off.
