Massage extraordinary good
Massage extraordinary good! Unfortunately the cold baths/ jacuzzi/ bath with Stones were All out of order. The staff in the bath very bad in speaking both english and danish. The staff in the reception area kind and welcoming. All in All dissapointing!
Who doesn't love a spa day?
They didn't do anything wrong for me. And its a spa. Pretty much a recipe for a good time.
Disrespectful/ deceptive
Fantastic. But I won’t be back. As a biological woman I used the posted sign Women change room. They now allow any man who checks off the Female marker on form to use Women change room. For my own safety and respect I asked that penis’ not be allowed in Women change room. They refuse this request declaring any man claiming to identify as female will use the change room. Disgusting and entirely disrespectful to me being a Bio - female. Also nothing was posted that penis’ were welcome in the women’s change room.
Bad customer service
From getting a gift card -
Payment to communication about issue with the spa, being told that the gift will not be possible the day before due to technical details, then being spammed by the team, telling me they didn't hear from me (after I have spoken to several of the people from AIRE), to the issue of a refund. I was promised it would be taken care of and would be refunded within 15 days the latest - guess what - that delay was only for the team to reach out that they need my bank details and then of course missing the deadline for batch refund.
I really did like this place but this experience makes me question whether i should ever attempt to go back.
-Issue with payments
-Issue with the functioning of the spa itself (perfect if you rely on this to be an amazing gift - and it gets cancelled cause the spa is not working!)
-Bad communication internally
-Bad communication around refunds
AIRE London
AIRE London. It has been incredible experience with amazing staff taking care of everything, very relaxing, peaceful, beautiful spa in heart of London.
Highly recommend.
Cancellation 19 hours before booking
Edit: This was copenhagen
19 hours before my booking I received an email (not a phone call!) about the place being closed for an entire week. (Email at the bottom in its entirety)
They didn’t offer to refund my money, only to reschedule with complimentary drinks. I had to call them and ask for a refund and was told that “They had to speak to a manager to issue a refund since it’s outside the cancellation window”.
I don’t really care what the internal process is, but its really something to make it sound like they will have to go out of their way not to just steal your money when they don’t deliver a service that you have already paid up front for.
I asked for some sort of compensation like a future discount if they wanted me back at some point but they wouldn’t offer it. If I wanted to reschedule I could get +15 min massage (which I already had since I ordered for mother’s day).
All in all I doubt I will be going back since I would show up annoyed because of this experience and I don’t think that’s the best mental place to be going into a relaxing massage session.
Bad handling of cancellation, bad customer service - if I hadn’t checked my mail I would have showed up for nothing. They even send me a “please check in online” email 3 hours before the cancellation email. Note that the email said they wanted to contact me immediately - just not by phone…
The cancellation email:
We are truly sorry to contact you with this news, but due to a very unexpected technical issue with our baths system, we are unfortunately forced to keep Aire closed until Thursday the 28th of May, while our team works to fix the problem.
Please believe that this situation is completely unforeseen and deeply frustrating for us as well. Our maintenance and operations teams are already doing everything possible to solve it, as our only priority is to welcome you back with the experience you deserve.
We understand this may affect your plans, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. As soon as we were informed about the issue, we wanted to contact you immediately.
We would be more than happy to move your booking to another day, or place it on hold so you can visit whenever it is most convenient for you. Additionally, we would love to offer complimentary drinks on the house as a small gesture of apology and appreciation for your understanding.
Thank you so much for your patience, kindness, and understanding during this unexpected situation. It truly means a lot to us.
Warm regards,
Bad massage, horrible customer service
Beautiful setting, disappointing treatment experience.
We visited AIRE for an experience. The baths themselves were genuinely great, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the staff was welcoming and professional throughout.
Unfortunately, the massage treatment was extremely disappointing, especially considering the premium pricing and branding.
The body massage felt so minimal and lacking in technique that it honestly made me question the level of training behind it. It simply never felt like a proper massage developed at all. There was very little sense of technique, progression, or meaningful pressure during the treatment.
The experience also advertised a scalp massage, but it lasted only a few seconds, which honestly felt misleading compared to how the treatment is presented.
What makes this frustrating is that everything else feels high-end and carefully designed, so the massage quality stands out even more when it doesn’t match the rest of the experience.
Almost even worse was the customer service afterwards. They did respond initially and explained that the treatment is intended to be gentle and relaxing. That’s completely fair, but I clarified that the issue was not simply softness or pressure preference — it was that the treatment quality and execution did not feel aligned with the expectations created by the experience and price point.
After that, I was told they would get back to me again, but I never heard anything further.
A special spa day with daughter turned into a horrific experience -- DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!
Avoid this overpriced and unhealthy facility [smells like mold and mildew]. I paid $800+ for my daughter and I to have the "orange signature" massage and ritual bathing. First, they did not use the correct oil and were rushed and did not give us all the procedures listed on their website [such as scalp massage, guasha treatment]. The slimey face mask was left on our faces and we had to wash off ourselves in the shower -- the massage therapists were overbooked and not experienced--we were rushed. We left the facility in chilly weather with wet hair -- the Dyson hair dryers did not work. We never received our add-on healthy juice drink -- $24 each -- during our treatment. We did not have a guided tour of the baths and missed some of the main parts, such as indoor/outdoor pool. After 90 minutes, we had to keep asking for our massage -- very disorganized with a total lack of customer service. The place needed to be cleaned -- it smelled like mold and mildew and their facility has very few bathrooms for number of guests. I tried to convey my frustration at the front desk when we left -- you pre-pay for this place. I had to speak to two persons and the 'manager' promised to respond to me that week -- that communication never happened. She gave me a refund of $174 for the tips paid to massage therapists [$120] and two juices for my daughter and I. I tried to dispute this horrific experiences with Mastercard and you are locked into all of their 'legal verbage' when you pre-book online. I was just trying to have a special day with my daughter and it turned into a nightmare -- DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE -- what I thought would be a very memorable day at a spa turned into a huge stressor -- this is not about money -- this review is left for others to not have the save unfavorable experience.
Honestly, save your money
After some hesitation (due to price) my boyfriend and I went to the spa in Seville, hoping the price could still be justified by the rooftop terrace views over the cathedral. Turns out the terrace is only for people who book a massage. Zero mention of this on the website and we found out once we were there. That alone felt like a scam and we were very disappointed.
The whole vibe was weirdly controlled from the start. We got separated on arrival and had to wait to be guided to a locker, which already set a weird tone. You're there to relax and instead you're being herded around.
Only three baths, and you have 1.5 hours total. The salt floating bath was actually nice tho, and the music was good. But that's about it.
The relaxation area had soaking wet cushions because you're not allowed to bring towels in. So everyone just drips onto the seats. Also it's basically open to the entrance above it with no wall, so it felt like chilling in a corridor.
Staff were unfriendly!
Not relaxing, not transparent about what's included, and way overpriced for what you actually get.
Every fiber relaxed
I've been to the one in London a couple of times and loved it every time!
Wonderful!
My daughter and I went to Aire London which was a gift from my son. From the very beginning we were treated like royalty with a warm welcome and personal orientation.
The building is beautiful, calm and serene, smells wonderful and is spotlessly clean. Everything is provided, including really comfortable bootees and high end products to use following the experience.
The staff are always present but not overwhelming at all. A special mention to Ezra who really looked after us and went the extra mile to ensure our afternoon was perfect! Even though it appears there is a time limit to your stay at the spa, we were not hurried at all. We had a lovely leisurely experience.
The massage was awesome, one of the best I have ever had and the bubbly & chocolates were a delicious touch to this fabulous experience. Already thinking of booking my next one!
Excellent
Aire London-Excellent. Service was second to none, staff were lovely. It is very well thought out and very clean. Superb!
“A shameful and unacceptable experience!
On January 24th, I arrived at SPA Aire in Barcelona 15 minutes early, as indicated on the €130 voucher my wife had gifted me. After check-in, I was literally abandoned: no one gave me any information or attended to me. People who arrived after me were immediately seated, while I was left ignored and neglected.
After 30 unbearable minutes of waiting, without apologies or explanations, I requested a refund. The staff responded with arrogance and rudeness, treating me as if I were the problem. The supervisor appeared with a mocking smile and offered “extra time for the massage,” as if that could fix the humiliation and a completely ruined experience.
€130 completely wasted. Rudeness, total disregard for the customer, complete neglect: one of the worst services I have ever experienced. Do not waste your time or money here.”
Unique ancient bath experience in Toronto
Brilliant unique experience. There is nothing like this anywhere in Canada, never mind Toronto. The attention to detail is of the highest order- from the reception by staff to the design of facilities. My wife and I both had a massage treatment which was first class and set us up for the ancient bath experience. Everything is sparking clean with staff making sure the visitor experience is one to be positively remembered for a long time. There are multiple ancient baths available, my favourites were the salt bath which allows you to float as if you are in the Dead Sea and the very hot pool with accompanying adjacent plunge pool. The outdoor swimming area is a really cool addition to the facility. I loved the sauna and steam rooms- they seem to finish off the ancient baths experience for me. There are high quality fittings throughout and excellent soaps, lotions and balms to pamper yourself with. Complimentary drinks available. I understand it is newly open and would recommend early booking as this place will definitely become a number one attraction in Toronto.
I booked a couple’s massage at AIRE Spa…
I booked a couple’s massage at AIRE Spa with my partner and asked in advance if we could both be massaged by female massage therapists. This request was based on a previous visit, where I was massaged by a man while my partner was massaged by a woman, which I personally found very uncomfortable and awkward.
When we arrived this time and repeated our request for two female massage therapists, we were met with a very dismissive and almost scolding response. It was clear that this is something they often “have problems with” and usually refuse.
For me, having a male massage therapist touching and massaging my body is a clear personal boundary and can feel invasive. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ask for a female massage therapist, and I find it surprising that this preference isn’t handled with more understanding and respect.
On top of this, the overall level of service was unusually poor. The communication felt unprofessional, and instead of making guests feel welcome and comfortable, the experience felt tense and dismissive.
If many guests request female massage therapists, this is something the spa should take into account – either by hiring more women or by prioritising guests’ comfort and boundaries. Feeling safe, respected, and well-treated should be fundamental in a spa setting.
Money wasted
One staff member seems to think there is a no talking policy (I mean strict no talking, not quiet voices to not disturb others). As a result, my friend and I were being watched by this staff member and ‘told off’ even if people in other baths were actually chatting. While funny in retrospect, we left early as it was getting quite uncomfortable and the reverse of a relaxing experience.
Love it here
Love it here. Super relaxing and I spoke to Austin and he’s amazing
Absolutely worth it
I’ve been to Aire a few times alone over the years for the thermal circuit. I thought the place was wonderful but I always stuck to the baths because the experiences are... well.. not cheap.
Last year, I was gifted the Ancient Argane massage experience – baths, 75 min massage, drink+chocolates. Sadly, we had an unexpected death in the family and I forgot about it for months. When I went to book, I realised it had expired. I wrote to them and they were incredibly understanding. They called me immediately and, given the exceptional circumstances, allowed me to rebook and take it within the next ten days.
I decided to book the same experience for my partner so we could go together. Since my last visit, it seemed they had added quite a few new experiences. We were pampered for over two hours and left feeling like we were floating.
Everything was sublime, from the oil to the massage, the cava, juice and chocolate. I did not opt for the cava (my partner did and said it was excellent), but I had the mango and passion fruit juice, which was great. They do the touches really well: fluffy bathrobes, L’Occitane products in the shower, and the free mint tea and water in the relaxation area of the baths were all lovely touches.
The 75-minute massage was thorough, with the option to choose focus areas. They were generous with the oil and the masseuses were excellent. It was deeply relaxing, and I loved the detail of warming your socks before putting them back on your feet at the end.
The place is warm, elegant and impeccably clean, with low lighting and authentic features. They tell you to arrive 10 minutes early, and it is worth it. It's in the middle of the bustling city and you do not want to feel rushed getting in. I did the online check-in, but you will still spend a few minutes in reception and then a few more receiving an explanation of your treatment once you are inside.
It's fun to do alone, but now I would highly recommend the shared experiences. It was my first time doing one, and it is a lovely thing to enjoy together. As soon as my daughter turns 18, I am going to take her.
Not cheap, totally, absolutely worth it.
Thank you, Aire.
Waste of money and time (Barcelona)
I have simply copy and passede the review given by another user Rachael Broussard
The reason I have done so, is because I couldn't have said it better myself. My review concerns the experience in Barcelona.
Please find the review below and know that I fully back this point.

Save Your Time and Money – Not Worth It.
If you're looking for a mediocre experience at best, this is exactly the place for it. The marketing looks great — but it's completely misleading. The staff is disorganized and constantly watching your every move, which makes it hard to relax.
You're given one small, thin towel and a flimsy robe that feels anything but luxurious. There’s no lotion provided, and the spa area is tiny and overcrowded — making it impossible to actually enjoy your time there.
The massage was extremely disappointing — no deep tissue options available, and overall just not professional. Worst of all, you're required to wear wet slippers the entire time, even once you're dry. It's uncomfortable, unsanitary, and feels cheap.
To top it off, don’t even bother voicing concerns — the staff is defensive, dismissive, and unwilling to take responsibility. They stand by each other no matter what, and customers are treated like they’re in the wrong.
Skip this place — there are much better options out there.
