This wrap marks our 10th anniversary of doing these year end wrap ups, and they’ve been a great time to indulge with some reflection. Every year has their own story and 2025 was no different. The biggest news from Tim and I is that for the first time ever (in 17 years of TMDB being online) we are a legit and profitable business. This was a crucial milestone we had to meet to secure our future so that we can keep building TMDB for you every day.

We’re finally getting back to the routine of releasing new user features which feels really great. I know a lot of you have been patiently waiting for feature X, or feature Y, and the plan is to get back to that kind of work in 2026. It’s been a couple years since we’ve really been able to focus on it, but it seemed like there was just always something more important to deal with. We’re really excited to deliver some of these new features and continue to hone in on the platform in general.

If you’ve made it this far, you’re a real fan of TMDB and I wanted to say thank you, I really appreciate that. Happy new year, and I’ll see you next year.
