Counting Our Days: The Journey In Creating A Relationship With GodWhat is the purpose of verbally counting the days between Pesach and Shavuot? ????? "in the beginning"...
-The letter that is a square closed on every side but the way creation flowS-
Though it is true that no one can surf the surface of surfaces to see before creation - yet perhaps there are deeper allusions among the dangers of causing damage to the text to project your own illusion upon it.
this is a thought experiment just to help guide you through some of the features of sefaria. there is no pressure to rush any of it, for the nature of the torah, the words of our sages of blessed memory, those who still may live for 120 or even 180, may the supernal will it; that a single word can provide a lifetime of every kind of jewel and every kind of wonder. too much sweetness makes one sick. it is better to study and delight at the most leisurely place and know each thing you encounter than to act with too much hunger to regurgitate that there was no chance for rumination and all the produce has been stripped from the stalks in plague.
i am in the process presently of preventing my eyes from widening and trying to hitch my lips to a post. i am also in the process of learning how to use sefaria's sheets and trying to find a way to get further from moron and closer to moreh

Interpreting the Prohibited Animals in Sh'mini and the Role of Blood in the Sacrificial System
This Sheet considers the relationship between those animals listed as consumable, the role of blood in sacrifices and its prohibition as a consumable. Why was Noah allowed to eat meat? Is there a connection between these laws/concepts, and the concept of God in Humash?
