1. INTRODUCTION
The CON-2300MP switching control system is comprised of three modules.
of control, is designed to automatically control a switching system
power electrical between two network supplies and a generator supply
automatic startup. It performs load transfers between networks or between the network and
group through a interlocked switching system to avoid the maneuver
simultaneous between the group and either of the two networks.

The CON-2300MP system detects the failure of the power supply from any of the
Networks or receive a commissioning order of the group (from the programmer of
operation of the optional equipment, or of a remote control system); then it gives
a start signal to the automatic switchboard of the group and controls the load transfer
group networks through signals given to the power circuit breakers of the panel
switching.

Modes of operation:

In automatic system operation, when a network fails, the service is activated.

group load to network. If the networks can be connected in parallel, the transfer between
networks can be carried out without interruption.

In manual operation, preventive maintenance can be performed by connecting.

they can be connected in parallel. The connection in parallel between the networks only depends on the
characteristic of the transformers that supply them, not depending on the
characteristics of the automatic system

In automatic operation by remote control, when a signal is given by closing a

contact, start the generator and transfer the load from the grid to the group. When removing the
remote signal (contact opening) transfers the group load to redy for the group
generator.

It can be used for automatic preventive maintenance with real load.

The CON-2300MP team is usually supplied mounted on a switch.

Communications with the outside.

The CON-2300MP device has two contacts with a common terminal without voltage that
they allow to signal at a distance the firing of the alarms of the equipment. One of the contacts
signals the preventive alarms, the other the alarms in the switching system.

Through an external contact connected to the equipment, the group can be started or
put it into service according to the programming carried out on the device itself.

Optionally, a module can be installed for the communication of the equipment with a
PC computer, through an RS 485 serial communication. Allows for control
remote completion of the switching team. To know the details of
operation and programming, see the manual 'Protocol Description of

on the network; and also when the mains voltage goes out of the±15% of the tension

To program the equipment for automatic operation in case of network failure, you must
press the button S11 "Automatic service/Manual service" switching to "Service
automatic" in the three modules, signaling the maneuver by the lighting of
the corresponding pilots.

When a 'network failure' occurs, the CON-2300MP equipment will perform a brief
timing, usually 1 second to give the order to be put into service
the other network, to avoid giving a "start order" in a first cut of shorter duration
to a second. With this type of operation, the group will not start until
that both networks crash.

If the normal operating system of the equipment requires both networks to work
permanently in parallel, the group's start will occur when a single one fails.

5.1 Maintenance.

For the maintenance of the electrical equipment, it will only be necessary once or twice a...
year, a test of all the automations is carried out through its system
automatic, and a review is carried out and if necessary a retightening of all its
embeddings, both of maneuver and power, as well as a cleaning of the
same with dry compressed air or with a vacuum cleaner.

It is recommended to create an incident log for the annotation of the

interventions that are carried out on the equipment, indicating the date of them, the
reviews carried out or the work done, the anomalies found, the elements
replaced and the name of the technician who carried out the review.
