Product Descriptions
SeaSnap Crackers are tasty and healthy snacks made from green guso (Eucheuma sp)
and carrots as the primary ingredients. These crackers will incorporate the health benefits of
seaweed that is high in dietary fiber, antioxidants, vitamins A, C, D3, calcium, iron, and other
benefits, with natural sweetness and nutrients found in carrots. This product is a healthy,
low-calorie, high-fiber alternative to typical crackers in that it combats poor heart health
efficacy, digestion, and overall wellness. Due to their dry nature and low moisture content,
Guso Crackers will usually remain fresh for around 2-3 months in proper conditions, being
stored in an airtight container and kept away from moisture and heat. According to the
study cited by Helwig (2024), seaweed contains the vitamins A, C, and E, all of which are
high in antioxidants. By lowering the effects of free radicals, antioxidants aid in preventing
cell damage. Free radicals are chemicals that play a role in chronic illnesses such heart
disease, diabetes, and some forms of cancer. Furthermore, antioxidants may improve your
immune response.
Benefits of this Product
This product has many advantages such as cured fiber which aids digestion while
balancing blood sugar levels. It is additionally abundant in Calcium and Iron, important
nutrients for the bones and oxygen transport in the body. Moreover, it has powerful
antioxidants and vitamins important for the immune system and skin and slows its
deterioration. Due its low calorie and fat content, it is ideal for consumers who wish to
maintain their health. The product is also made from natural ingredients sourced from the
region, thus promoting responsible farming and helping the farmers in that area.

VII. Product Procedures
Ingredients
3 cup fresh guso (cleaned and finely blend using blender or food processor)
2 pieces of carrots
3 cup all-purpose flour (or cassava flour for gluten-free)
1/2 cup water (adjust as needed)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground pepper
3 tsp baking soda
1|2 kls cooking oil
1|2 cup of cornstarch

Preparation Procedure:
1. Clean the Guso: Wash the fresh guso thoroughly with clean water to remove any
sand, salt, or debris.
2. Soak in clean water for about 10 minutes, then drain.
3. Chop the guso finely to make it easier to mix and more uniform in texture.
Preparation for making the crackers
Add the garlic, onion, chopped carrots, guso and water in the blender or food
processor to make it more blend.
After blending the ingredients, prepare your flour, cornstarch, ground pepper, salt,
and other seasonings.
After the preparation, pour the mixture to the seasoned flour to make dough.
Once the dough is ready, you can start creating square shape crackers.
Form the Crackers: Scoop about a tablespoon of batter and flatten it on a lightly greased
tray or banana leaf.
Shape into thin pieces.
Ensure uniform thickness to promote even cooking.
Cook the Crackers:
1. Frying method: Heat oil in a pan and deep-fry the crackers until golden
brown and crispy.
Cool and Store: Let the crackers cool completely on a wire rack.
Store in an airtight container to maintain crispness.
You can add spices, cheese powder, or sesame seeds for added flavors.
Shelf life is longer if thoroughly dried and stored properly.

and high fibre content in comparison to traditional chips. Seasnap Crackers can be
consumed on their own or with dip. The versatility of Snacks is a strong factor in
