ARTICLtr l: A competitive entrance examination into year one of the first cycle for the
University Technology Diploma of Industrial Fishing (Fishing-Navigation and Yessel
equipment), Marine Engineering (Maintenance of Ships, Nautical and Industrial Equipment),
Aquaculture and Fisheries Technology (Fisheries Industries, processing and Quality control)
ofthe Limbe Nautical Arts and Fisheries Institute (LINAFI), for the 2A25n026 academic year
' is organized in the following centres: Douala, Limbe, Garoua, and Yaound6.

ARTIPLE 2: GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR WRITING


The competitive entrance examination is opened to Cameroonians of both sexes who are
holders of the following certificates: GCE Advanced Level in at least two (2) papers in science
subjects. Baccalaurdat C, D, E, F, Advanced Level Technical and Vocation Certificate (ATVE)
except Textile and Clothing Industry GCI) or any cther equivalent certificate recognized by the
Ministry of Higher Education.
Those with awaiting results are eligible to apply.
The age limit for candidates is between:
t 17 and 35 years for Industrial Fishing and Marine Engineering.
o 17 and 40 years for Aquaculture and Fisheries Technology.

I An authorization to sit for examination issued by the user ministry (for civil servant);
o A medical certificate issued by a Medical Doctor from the administration to testifu that
the candidate is physically and rnentally fit to undertake the course;

ARTICLE 10: The results of the examinations shall be published by a communique of the
Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education and the Minister of Livestock, Fisheries and
Animal Industries.

ARTICLE 11: Candidates from foreign countries are recruited base on the study of their
files containing the documents mentioned in article 4 and will onty be definitively admitted
after a medical test"

ARTICLE 12: The Director of Limbe Nautical Arts and Fisheries Instihrte "LINAFI", and
the Director for University Accreditations and Quality are each in his capacity, responsible for
the implementation of this decision, which shall be registered, puhlished and broadcast
