Agenda: Reforming UN Peacekeeping Missions
The agenda of reforming UN Peacekeeping Missions addresses
the need to adapt and enhance the efficiency of
peacekeeping operations to better resolve conflicts in an
increasingly complex global environment. Over the decades,
peacekeeping missions have faced significant challenges,
including inadequate resources, lack of coordination among
stakeholders, and issues with the mandate's scope and
enforcement. The evolving nature of conflicts, ranging
from traditional interstate wars to civil strife and
insurgencies, has necessitated a re-examination of
existing mechanisms. Reform discussions will delve into
strategies to improve the safety and effectiveness of
peacekeepers, address funding gaps, and ensure adherence
to international law while respecting the sovereignty of
nations. Delegates will explore the role of technology,
the need for rapid deployment capabilities, and the
importance of strengthening partnerships between the UN,
regional organizations, and member states. By engaging in
constructive dialogue, the committee aims to propose
innovative solutions to make peacekeeping missions more
responsive, inclusive, and sustainable in resolving
conflicts worldwide.

Agenda: Taiwan Independence
The issue of Taiwan's independence is a critical
geopolitical topic with far-reaching implications for
regional and global stability. At the heart of the
debate lies the complex and contentious relationship
between Taiwan and the People’s Republic of China, which
considers Taiwan a part of its territory. On the other
hand, Taiwan maintains a distinct identity, functioning
as a de facto independent state with its own government,
economy, and international relationships. This agenda
will explore the historical context of Taiwan’s
political status, the role of major powers such as the
United States, and the impact of international
recognition—or the lack thereof—on Taiwan's quest for
sovereignty. Delegates will also assess the potential
economic and security repercussions of Taiwan's
independence for neighboring countries and global trade.
By examining the positions of various stakeholders, this
committee aims to balance the principles of self-
determination with the need to maintain peace and
prevent military escalation in the Asia-Pacific region.

Agenda: The Weaponisation of Outer Space
As humanity ventures further into the cosmos, the
weaponization of outer space poses a significant threat
to international security and the peaceful use of
space. This agenda focuses on preventing an arms race
beyond Earth and ensuring that outer space remains a
global commons accessible for scientific,
technological, and humanitarian purposes. The
proliferation of space-based weaponry, anti-satellite
(ASAT) systems, and dual-use technologies has raised
concerns about potential conflicts in the final
frontier. Delegates will examine existing treaties such
as the Outer Space Treaty of 1967 and evaluate their
adequacy in addressing modern challenges. Discussions
will include the ethical implications of militarizing
space, the role of private space enterprises, and the
need for transparency and trust-building measures among
space-faring nations. By fostering international
cooperation, the committee seeks to propose frameworks
to regulate space activities, prevent weaponization,
and promote the peaceful exploration and use of space
for all humankind.

Agenda: Legalisation of Prostitution
The legalization of prostitution is a highly debated topic
with profound social, legal, and economic implications.
This agenda examines whether legalizing prostitution can
contribute to gender equality, improve public health, and
protect the rights of sex workers. Delegates will explore
the benefits of a regulated system, such as reducing human
trafficking, ensuring safer working conditions, and
empowering individuals engaged in sex work. However, the
discussion will also address potential challenges,
including societal stigmas, enforcement issues, and the
moral and ethical dimensions of commercial sex. By
analyzing case studies from countries with differing
approaches to prostitution, the committee aims to evaluate
the feasibility and consequences of legalization. Through
a balanced and inclusive debate, the goal is to propose
evidence-based recommendations that uphold human dignity,
gender equality, and public safety.

Agenda: Impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on
Intellectual Property (IP)
The rapid advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) have
revolutionized various industries, creating new challenges
and opportunities for intellectual property (IP) frameworks.
This agenda explores the implications of AI-driven
innovations on IP rights, ownership, and global policies. As
AI systems generate creative works, inventions, and designs,
questions arise about the attribution of authorship and
inventorship—should it belong to the AI, its developers, or
its users? Additionally, the committee will address the
impact of AI on patent systems, copyright laws, and
trademark protections, ensuring that these frameworks remain
robust and adaptable. Delegates will consider the ethical
and legal dimensions of AI-generated content and its
implications for innovation and competition. By examining
diverse perspectives, this committee seeks to recommend
policies that balance the protection of intellectual
property rights with the promotion of technological
advancement and equitable access to AI-driven resources.

Agenda: Integration of Mutants in Human Society
The integration of mutants into human society is a
topic that raises critical social, political, and
ethical questions. Mutants, individuals with
extraordinary abilities, often face discrimination,
fear, and prejudice from broader society, leading to
tensions and conflicts. This crisis committee will
explore the challenges of achieving coexistence,
focusing on the creation of inclusive policies and the
protection of mutant rights. Delegates will debate the
role of governments in fostering acceptance, the
responsibilities of mutants in society, and the need
for regulatory frameworks to address safety concerns.
Additionally, the discussions will cover public
perception, media influence, and the potential for
cooperation between humans and mutants in areas like
scientific innovation and disaster response. Through
crisis simulations and dynamic debates, this committee
aims to develop strategies that promote mutual
understanding, social harmony, and the equitable
integration of mutants, ensuring justice and equality
for all.
international press (ip)
Agenda: Journalism, Caricatures, and Media Editing
The International Press (IP) plays a pivotal role in
shaping narratives, critiquing policies, and fostering
transparency within the conference. This agenda emphasizes
the power of journalism, caricatures, and media editing as
tools for documenting and analyzing the proceedings of the
committees. Delegates representing the press will report
on debates, highlight key issues, and provide satirical
critiques through editorials, cartoons, and digital media.
The agenda encourages creativity and critical thinking,
enabling the press corps to offer unique insights into the
conference's themes. Discussions will also explore the
ethical responsibilities of journalists, the boundaries of
satire, and the role of media in promoting accountability.
By engaging in these activities, the press aims to inform,
entertain, and inspire both delegates and audiences while
maintaining professional integrity and journalistic
standards.
Leadership Forums:
Empowering Delegates
through Expert Insights
The Leadership Forums are a series of engaging webinars
designed to inspire and empower delegates by providing
access to the knowledge and experiences of highly
qualified professionals from diverse fields. These
sessions serve as a platform for thought leaders,
policymakers, and industry experts to share their insights
on critical global issues, personal and professional
growth, and leadership strategies. Through interactive
discussions, delegates gain valuable perspectives on
problem-solving, decision-making, and the nuances of
navigating complex global challenges. Each forum is
tailored to complement the agendas of the conference,
bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and
practical application. By participating in these forums,
delegates can expand their understanding of real-world
dynamics, hone their skills, and foster a mindset of
innovation and collaboration, preparing them to lead with
confidence and integrity in their future endeavors.
