I. Course Description: This course introduces the role of the entrepreneur, innovation, and technology in the entrepreneurial process and strives to
provide students with a knowledge of the nature of enterprise and entrepreneurship. The content of the course is relevant to those who are
considering about starting a business or who are already running one, those who are interested in commercializing their own or others' ideas, and
those who counsel entrepreneurs or participate in entrepreneurship policymaking.
II. Course Outcomes:
Upon completion of the course, the students will be able to:
Discuss what is meant by entrepreneurship and innovation from both a theoretical and practical perspective, and the role of the entrepreneur in
the new enterprise creation process.
Describe an understanding of the process that enables entrepreneurs with limited resources to transform a simple idea into a sustainable
success. There are many tools and doctrines that can be used for assessing product/service quality and selection of these tools can help in the
pursuit of excellence. This course is designed to provide a valuable perspective for future business managers.
Engage in a continuing learning process through the interaction with peers in related topics, as individuals and as team members.
Apply fundamental aspects of entrepreneurial thinking across disciplines and as a means of personal empowerment.
