Hold Shift key and
select the legend to
make it floating
Using Floating, we can freely
adjust the size and location of
the visualization

Filtering the dashboard will allow you to filter
your sheets (one at a time) in the dashboard

Layout Container allow the dashboard designer to
format common elements and move multiple
dashboard objects at the same time
Drag the Vertical from the Objects

Layout Containers come in one of two options:
Horizontal containers allow to group worksheets and
dashboard components left to right across your page
and edit the height of all elements at once
Vertical containers allow to group worksheets and
dashboard components top to bottom down your page
and edit the width of all elements at once

Device Designer helps you make the best data visualizations for any device.
Using this feature, you can create specific, curated experiences for each device.

• Field values can be used as dynamic inputs in a URL so
that the link is related to the data.

Introduction to Stories
A story is a sheet that contains a sequence of worksheets or
dashboards that work together to convey information
In other words,
Stories in Tableau are narrated walkthroughs of one or
more sheets or dashboards,
You can create stories to show how facts are connected, provide
context, demonstrate how decisions relate to outcomes, or
simply make a compelling case
