Duties and Responsibilities:
Mechanical Related:
Overall maintenance Schedule maintenance, Overhauling & Trouble-shooting of Gas
compressors, Air compressors, Pumps, &Gas Engines.
Gas Engine (GE Waukesha 12V 275GL+, L7044GSID) & Reciprocating Compressors (
Dresser-Rand 7HOS4 &6MOS4) Erection & Pre-commissioning, Operation & Maintenance
as per OEM recommendation and check sheets.
Study of project engineering documents & proving its feedback.
Maintenance of : Waukesha 275GL+ Engine, Waukesha VHP engine, 1MW GE Gas
Generators, Reciprocating compressors, Centrifugal Pumps, Diesel Engine Generators etc.
Involved with the team of commissioning of Separators (Low Pressure, High Pressure
Production, High Pressure test separator & filter separators).
Involvement of routine check-ups and maintenance activities along with Corrosion
Monitoring & Preventive Maintenance of package equipments.
Ensuring to comply with corporate policies on environmental, health and safety in order to
conform to government- mandated policies, maintain accident-free operation & achieve
plant safety objectives.
Responsible for emergency handling in case of any accident at site & also working on Line
network as part of rectification/modification job. Identifying root cause of failures &
implementing quick breakdown solutions to put the machines back in operation within
minimum turnaround time.
Carrying out regular & good housekeeping in all assigned areas and loss control management
by identifying potential hazards.
Operation Related:
To prepare check list and commissioning of utilities like High n Low Capacity
Reciprocating Compressor, GDU, Fire Water, ETP, Instrumentation air & process air
plant.
To carry out fault finding of the above mentioned systems.
To carry out installation and commissioning of the above mentioned systems.
Responsible for all the checkup and isolation required before the startup of main plant
and utilities. Simulate the desired conditions and see to it that all the hardware
and software is functioning ok.
Responsible for finding the cause of plant/utilities trip.
To carry out weekly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly maintenance of the said systems.
Daily monitoring of pressure , temperature,Flow etc.. of utilities like High n Low
Capacity Reciprocating Compressor, GDU, Fire Water, ETP, Instrumentation air &
process air plant.
FIELD MAINTENANCE:
To carry out day to day jobs in accordance with safety rules.
Responsible for carrying out job inspection, startup and fault finding of commissioned
plants utilities
Responsible for fault finding during start up problems or after trip of any of the above
mentioned areas.
To maintain history record of each instrument and special records for critical ones
Problem related to trip/critical loops are informed to operations in order to bypass/take loop
in man mode or whatever action required
