Psychiatry Nursing Feedback Diary Guide

The student nurse spent the day working in the psychiatry ward. Objectives for the day included starting motivational therapy with a patient and continuing their mental health assessment. The student found the experience fun and memorable as their patient engaged well with therapy. They are thankful for their patient's progress and hope they will become functional long-term. The student feels they are learning to become a better nurse through this experience. Ward management for the day went smoothly overall, though there were some minor incidents between patients. All proposed ward activities and therapies were completed.
