To coincide with the refresh of the NCSC’s Cyber Security Toolkit for Boards, NCSC CEO Lindy Cameron has written an op-ed on the importance of CEOs and board members engaging with the issue of cyber security.

She writes that while board members don’t need to be technical experts, they do need to know enough about cyber security to have constructive conversations with their key staff and assure themselves that their defences are robust enough to mitigate their organisation’s highest priority risks.

To help them, there are extensive resources available on the NCSC website including the Board Toolkit, which has proved highly popular with boards since its launch in 2019.
