WARNING ALL these mixes are TRYOUTS, all tracks are straight out of different folders of my databases of style and energy level, in 9 out of 10 cases I hear the track for the first time when I mix it in :-) I do not prelisten.
If one track is playing, I load 3 new ones and pick the best fit based on the graph of the track (visual). Sometimes you can also hear my programming cue points and loops. Ps. all is done, by hand and a mouse!
Yes, often tracks are commercial as mixing underground stuff without the interaction of a crowd can be a little boring.
My goal is aways to start easy and end a set peak time, if you hear a mix that sounds peak time its probable because its the 2nd or 3rd hour that I did record that sesion.
Mixing House, Techno, Tech House, Deep, Club and Classics..... Always funky and often influenced by Soul and Disco.... Doing a lot of live mashing up and playing several tracks simultaneously which can become a little overwhelming, but that's just MY style.
