Detroit Mi, United States
"DJ Furious" (a.k.a Walter Robinson) started his DJ career in the backyards and basements of Detroit, MI in 1982. Together with his longtime friends, Darcel Brown and Jeff Smith they formed the Tech Audio Crew and moved on to some of the bigger venues in the city. With House, Techno and Progresssive music on the rise in Detroit, Walter was recruited to join one of Detroit's mainstay DJ collectives...in 1983, Audio Mix. Under the tutelage of founder, the late John Johnson and the late legend Ken Collier, Walter moved his talent to new heights while spinning at legendary Detroit hotspots such as, L'uomo and The Downstairs Pub. After Audio Mix disbanded, Walter continued to spin at various dance venues.. Through all the years, he has never lost the passion for dance music and most importantly, "moving the crowd".
