Esteban Torres is resident DJ and co-founder of Praia Urbana, Houston's legendary electronic music festival as well as resident DJ at The Flat. He was introduced to electronic music at a young age while living near Tokyo, Japan and got his start on the decks in 1997 while living in Germany where began DJing and putting on events. After spending four years there, he then returned to Texas and as a result of his hard work and focus on exposing house music to new people and creating entertaining house music events, he has become one of the most influential DJs in Houston's house music scene. The music he plays can best be described as house music with elements of deep, tech house, jazz, Latin and even techno all together with a style that works for both big room shows and intimate settings.
