I came to Brighton to study fine art sculpture before leaving to join a rock'n'roll band...had a little art studio right next to the beach then too. A few years later I set up & ran the tiny but influential 'Fairtrade Gallery' where we put on art & music shows & also established a little annual festival called 'The April Alternative' - met many lovely people during this time. The space is now known as 'Studio26' - studios & workshops dedicated to music & art. I've recorded under the guise of 'Kitten' on www.homegrownsongs.co.uk & am currently playing 'mum' in the band 'Mum, Dad & the Kids' - www.mumdadandthekids.co.uk.
