'Music was my first love', that's definitely true for me. Long before I found the beauty of female attraction, arts and good food, I discovered the emotional excitement of a good track. Inspired by the beatmixing Mixtapes of the DMC (Disco Mix Club) in the early 80s I decided to start a DJ career, which unfortunately flopped after a few weeks. I had my first residency in a club, where they refused to provide Technics 1200 or Thorens turntables. They forced me to play with turntables without a pitch option, degraded me to a jukebox. I kicked the job after three weeks and focussed on a business career.
In 2005, after several inspiring party events on Ibiza, me and my wife created the party circle 'privatemonkey.com' to bring a high level electronic and 'non posh' party to Düsseldorf. Being a booker for this event for more than a decade developed my music expertise and brought me back to the place behind the Mixer in 2015, when a friend asked me to perform for his new party event.
