Chris Lawson known as "The Lawson" has always had music as a focal point in life. As a youth growing up in the Sacramento area he was encouraged to be a positive influence and well rounded individual. With that in mind, his musical tastes are very diverse ranging from hip hop to r&b to gospel, but his true passion is Soulful House music. As a dancer for of over 30 years, finding the rhythm of a song has always come easy. This experience has allowed for an easy transition from the dance floor into the dj booth. Knowing what keeps people grooving is key and this is one of Lawson's many talents.
