Shane Szabo (aka Teknikal Overdose) began his lifelong musical career at the young age 6, when he began playing guitar & began his 7 years of formal musical training. By the age of 10 he began writing music & playing lead guitar in an original metal band, which soon out of grade school was hitting the stage. This continued for 13 years opening for many national rock & metal acts as well as headlining many shows.
Late in his teens however, Shane was introduced to EDM and was immediately hooked. After exploring all of what the EDM world had to offer, Shane realized quickly that drum & bass would be his niche. Though with a heavy focus on the darker aspect of drum & bass and old school jungle, Shane also incorporates other modern genres of EDM into his mixes. Initially joining forces with Melodrumatic Productions & now also co-owner of Bassface Anonymous, Teknikal Overdose is taking his passion for EDM to the next level & will continue to heat up the dance floor for many years to come!
