Somewhere In Muddy Fields During The 1990s, United Kingdom
Eclectic mixes of all forms of electronic dance music from Chill to Club to Hardcore & the roots of the many genres that have evolved from what used to simply be called Techno,House & Electro, & now known as Old Skool.
Most mixes are Dj Jazz sets recorded live at various venues & mixed from vinyl onto C90 cassettes between 1990 & 2010.
Jazz originally got into DJing at the age of 14 as a fan of early hip-hop & classic funk and seeing how turntables were being used to mix beats,basslines & accapellas to produce fresh tracks. Acid house & Electro were a huge influence in the late 80s and by 1990 was DJing in clubs,raves & dance music events around the country mixing his own harder taste in techno with more commercial,pop & dance records of the time to create a bouncy vibe. Over the last decade the focus has been more freestyle & eclectic going back to his roots & passion of many different cool,groovy,jazzy,rocky,funky & feel-good genres.
