Born Sylvester Sello Masemene in Zebediela,Sylvoz started writting music @ the age of 16 & recorded two demos in a form of Kwaito but was less hopefull about the future in such genre.After finishing matric he took a gap year & started collecting vinyls/records to help him build his DJaing skills.Although things were a bit hard, he knew even angels can't see the future but he had faith to carry him.It was all about having potential and being hungry enough to make things happen.
While trying to convince parents to register him to a music school,he heard of the 2006 SAMC(Southern African Music Conference) on Yfm.Sylvoz registered for the week long conference @ Bassline in Jozi & gathered information which finally onviced his parents.
In 2007 he was registered with Soul Candi Institute of Music to study music production.Later that year after writting exams,he was quickly employed as a multi-skilled worker @ SA DJ Music in Pretoria owned by Chresos Xekalos
