Many consider Dynamo Starr a versatile Producer/DJ. It’s hard to pin point the region he comes from by listening to his works. At times you might think that he is a R&B producer but his style can change from Neo Soul, West Coast, Dirty South, East coast, and Baltimore Club music. With all these different styles of music Dynamo Starr maintains his own sound in every song and keeping a cutting edge on his own sound to separate himself from all the other producers out there that will normally pick a certain style of music and sound like the most popular producers.
Born in Baltimore City and raised in the suburbs of Baltimore metropolitan area. A young Dynamo Starr (Donte Claiborne) would spend lots of time with his Uncle in Baltimore who was local DJ, Who went by the name of Doc Starr. At the age of 8
Donte Claiborne was influenced by all the music his uncle play on turntables or on his guitar (Funk, Jazz, Rock, Hip-hop, Pop, Reggae & R&B.)
