Smootharda is spinning plates since the 90's.
During his DJ journey, he roamed various musical scenes on a quest for the holy groove.
Smootharda's sets are a blend of different electronic dance genres, with a focus on stimulating rhythmic patterns and a bassline that you can't ignore.
Just for the sake of name droppin' , he rubbed shoulders in the dj booth with Monica Kruze and Robert Leiner, to name the most prominent.
This OG sound cat's dj mission took of in the Antwerp, literally underground house scene. From the dungeons of pubs and unlicensed sleazy afterparties in court yards, to occasional club performances and resident gigs on the alternative stage of the yearly Dance a Delic open air festival in the Belgian Ardennes.
He's local heroes are DJ Koenie (Wally's Groove World) and Marko (La Rocca).
