A native of Singapore, Dj Sixfaez was born into a family full of musical talent. At a very tender age, his father introduced him to the world of beats. His passion for the percussions helped to make the obvious choice of joining the school band at 7. Sixfaez performed his first drum solo at a combined schools concert at 8 with the former president of Singapore Mr Wee Kim Wee being the guest of honour.Somewhere along that line, the doors to Djing swung open at his uncle's 21st birthday. The DJ arrived, equipment was set up, turntables started to spin and Sixfaez was hooked. Starting from rock bottom in 1993, Sixfaez began his quest as a helping hand in a mobile dj company.Life was tough for a boy at that age,but music was worth the effort. Sneaking out was the way and the only mode of transport was the bicycle to get to gigs.Learning just by watching other deejays, Sixfaez developed his own style of djing. The break came when a small pub needed a Dj urgently. Sixfaez replied to the call
