A percussionist from Ojai, California, Sidewinder has been behind the decks since 2000. Entering the music game early playing trumpet at 5 then focusing on percussion. Ryan Thompson started off as a house Dj and then after meeting now longtime friend Brian Stroner of Florida switching to breakbeats. As a breakbeat DJ, Sidewinder is known for his ill beats and clean mixes. Still heavily influenced by breakbeat music, Sidewinder now spins a collection of Techno, Techouse and Breaks. Still using Vinyl and Cdjs, he is a purist and has yet to touch or own any software controllers. His mixes are pure and one of a kind and his sets are not pre planned. His Peak hour music catalog is tremendous and its a shame that as a father and full time working man he doesn't get to share it that often. A resident member of Left Side Productions and well known for his famous Switch Craft/Temple of Doubt Halloween Parties in Upper Ojai.
