Schmid-E, with 30 years behind decks, brings with him the notion that blurring boundaries and recognizing beauty in all styles depending on the set and setting is key. Schmid-E has played iconic Denver venues as Beacon, Mockingbird, Snake Pit, Amsterdam and Norad and nationally headlined events from WMC in Miami, 10 years at Burning Man, Country Club in New York, dozens of regionals: Burning Flipside, Element 11, Transformus, Interfuse to the effigy burn at Lakes of Fire, Xara Dulzura, Earthdance and been direct support for such legends as Infected Mushroom, Moontribe, Deepsky and Electric Skychurch. His last two mixes charted globally on Mixcloud in the top 10 in Tech House, Electro House and a latests reached #2 in Melodic Trance behind Paul Van Dyk. Many of these older mixes are strictly vinyl. He is a founder of Apogaea, the Colorado regional burn, and has one job: to get your asses shakin!
