I'm a record producer and recently founded SoundThread on the premise and understanding that the expression of creativity is what makes us human. SoundThread exists to fuse the worlds of music and film production with cultural anthropology and international development. I’ve been producing music for the last 10 years or so. In this time I’ve worked with Grammy, Britt and Mobo award winners. More recently my projects have been abroad in developing countries. Quickly I became interested in the cultures behind the music I was recording. This opened up the world of sustainable development form a cultural perspective. At SoundThread we’re keen to understand how music and film can serve as a mechanism for sustainable development. We do this by working and learning from world leaders in this field. We’re privileged that our projects take us to the most exciting places and take great delight in working with some of the most inspirational people.
