Born and raised in Brussels, Rui is passionate about music and photography, passions discovered under the influence of his father. It was in Porto, when working at Gare Porto, influenced and inspired by DJs and good friends, such as Rui Trintaeum and Freshkitos, that he solidified his passion for electronic music. Living in Bangkok, where he has lived since 2014, he is a well-known figure in the Thai capital's nightlife. Rui cultivated his style with a varied selection that ranges from Jazz to Hip Hop and from Disco to Techno, also venturing into the colorful world of world music. Having been invited to play at the most important entertainment venues and festivals in Thailand, Rui has also been present in cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, Singapore, Bali, Paris, Ibiza, Brussels, Madrid, Lisbon, and Porto.
Rui is also the Music Director of The Standard Hotel in Bangkok since its opening in 2022 and a Resident host on Norrm Radio and Radio Alhara
