Powercut is a DJ, promoter and part-time remixer/producer based in Bristol, most known for his party rocking DJ sets and break-heavy mixes. As one part of the Bristol DJ/promoter collective Funk From The Trunk, Powercut has also been resident at a number of Bristol club-nights over the years and played festivals across the UK and Europe.
Powercut’s mixes have spread across the globe like wildfire, many to critical acclaim, and 2010 saw him with two mixes on Ninja Tune’s legendary Solid Steel Radio.
Having shared stages with artists including J-Rocc, Fat Freddys Drop, DJ Format, Marva Whitney, Questlove, Cut Chemist, The Furious Five and Big Daddy Kane, he has a diverse arsenal of beats and pieces to rock a crowd alongside some of the world’s finest.
