Started out in my late teens and early 20s bouncing around Hard House and Trance clubs, soaking up the energy and bringing it back to the bedroom decks. Mixing was always a passion project - never chased the spotlight, but I did manage to sneak in a few live club sets along the way.
My taste hasn’t slowed down… if anything, it’s grown. From hard house and trance to progressive and anything electronic that grabs my attention.
After selling my 1210s over 20 years ago, I took a long break from mixing… but the itch never really went away.
Fast forward to now… I’ve jumped back in with a DDJ-400 and remembered just how much I love it. Although I do still miss the feel of vinyl - nothing quite like it. Mixing digitally is taking some getting used to… where’s the panic when the needle skips?! 😂
This is me dusting off the cobwebs, rebuilding the skills, and not taking things too seriously.
